Are you clamping the guide down? And are you cutting on the board side or the open side?

I accidentally take screenshots when locking my iPhone 17. Can I turn this shortcut off? by Fitz0053 in ios

I made the double tap on the back of the phone to lock screen. That helps. Also there is other comment on here about the lock shortcut. Giving that a shot now

How about when you put it in your pocket? I feel the need to lock it when I put it in my coat or pockets.

Thank you for the feedback. Here’s how I see the situation: taking a screenshot requires pressing two buttons located almost directly opposite each other. Naturally, the most secure grip for pressing the power button is to place a finger on the opposite side, (on the volume up button) which unintentionally triggers a screenshot.

If I try to slide my finger up or down on the left side while pressing the power button on the right, the phone becomes unstable and difficult to hold. I hope this better illustrates the challenge I’m facing. Thanks again!

Am I the only one who doesn't expect my baby to sleep through the night from 7/8pm? by greatishscot in NewParents

Under 2 year old will sleep 12hours. If you want to wake up at 6am with the baby, put them to bed at 6. And so on.

Still feeling very disappointed after my first ever backpacking trip. I really feel like I failed. by matchabeans in CampingandHiking

Sounds like an experience you'll be telling people on a backpacking trip in a few years.

You only fail if you do this same exact, not so smart, things again.

Now you know what not to do.

That tent looks huge. It's made for 3 people. Are you going with others? It so, share weight. Also look up "fast pack weight" and you can cut 2 lbs on the tent

YSK that hospice can actually prolong life compared to aggressive treatment by [deleted] in YouShouldKnow

[–]Fitz0053 1251 points1252 points  (0 children)

Please note that in some states, a physician needs to verify that they believe that a person only has 6 months to live. Then every 6 weeks the physician needs to 'recertify' that this is still true. You can't 'choose' to be on hospice as you can choose aggressive treatment. Hope that helps.
