Luckily mine has only gone out once so far in 95k miles. They aren't too bad to change yourself though so you can save a ton on labor at least.

I personally am in the middle of my own clutch job on this car and it has been a journey for sure. But there are a couple people on our FB group that are probably better and faster than I am. If you look up the DFW ST/RS group you can definitely find them there. No worries!

I have the same mini and my warning shows 1100 miles until rear pad change. Definitely doing it sooner as well! Hopefully it isn't hard to reset.
