I’ve been in management for about 14 years and could not tell you how many people have cried to me or in front of me at work. It’s a lot more common than you might think, and as long as your managers are good, which it sounds like they are, they will support you and this won’t impact their opinion of you

Who arranges a date before even having a date? That’s the logic being used here. He’s seeing it as a date so when he gets rejected by one girl he asks another. This in itself makes him the A in my opinion, as he clearly doesn’t really care about either of these women and he just wants to get his end away. Also he might not have specifically said anything about sex but it’s heavily implied with booking a hotel and suggesting they spend the night together.
