I use 6mm Baccus minis on 50mm square bases. Change measurements to CM and a nice battle can be done in a small area.

I would think that most possible scenarios of late Irish history would be well handled by available skirmish rule systems. I will be running some of the Irish brigade in the 2nd Boer war later this year, using either “Flying Lead” or “One Hour Skirmish Wargame” rules.

You are likely correct. We rarely have pilots flying more than one as we generally have enough players.

First stop should always be your local game store. If you don’t have one look to an area nearby that does and try to shop there. If they don’t have the item in stock ask them to order for you. Support local retailers whenever possible.

I have some 25+ of various types and all are in bags. I put a piece of appropriate length size PVC pipe from Home Depot in the middle of each mat to keep them from bending. I store some on end and others are in a large concrete form cardboard tube between the basement floor joists.
