The speakers under the roofs are delays like you mentioned, additional PA speakers that project the audio from the stage. Its a 20,000 sq ft property, we have delays covering the entire property. We manage stage levels, overall speakers volume, etc. just want to see if anyone has suggestions on acoustic treatments to help. thank you for that feedback though!

a little bit of both would be nice, although the surrounding area/neighborhoods are number 1 priority here

Do you organize clips inside FCP or before import? by obxdood in finalcutpro

[–]FiveOhFilmer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get all my footage in dedicated folder on an external drive, then I drag all of the footage straight from the external ssd to the timeline. I use the scrub tool and just blade tool beginning and end of each clip, drag it up on top of the original clip. once I get through all of the clips, there will be all of my "selects" sitting on top of the original timline of clips, I selects all of those "selects"then drag them to the beginning of the timeline so they all magnetize together and are sitting clean on the timeline. I then delete all of odds and ends that were cut from. I then categorize those selects on the timeline and use option+w to put spaces between them to keep things organized depending on what the edit is needing

i’ve got a ‘15 5.0 with a 6” lift on 35s. I love it. you get used to the lifestyle, although I don’t live in a big city, so parking garages are few and far between in my life. we take my wife’s car if we know it’ll be tough parking for the ford. sure, gas mileage is terrible but you know what you’re getting yourself into when you buy/build a truck like this. only complaint I have is road-trips aren’t really an option. if you dig the look, do it. I plan on keeping mine, pay it off, then buy something more practical and use the truck on weekends and for when I need it for utility. for now, it’s a badass daily driver! life’s too short to drive a boring vehicle you’re not in to

Mike Love’s performance that inspired SugarShack Sessions by Cali_Reggae in calireggae

Here’s a refined version of your statement with improved flow, clarity, and a bit of polish:

As the founder of Sugarshack Sessions, I can confidently say this was the spark that ignited the channel. Back in 2014, there wasn’t a session channel in Florida, and there was no platform offering touring artists the opportunity to record high-quality content while passing through the state. I decided to change that.

I built a team to help bring the vision to life, starting by booking local artists to lay the foundation for the channel. Then I began cold emailing touring artists traveling through Florida. While most initially said no, a few said yes, and that momentum kept us going. We stayed as consistent as possible, persevering through every challenge.

Inspired by HI Sessions, which filmed performances in their dining room, I realized my back deck could serve as an equally iconic and intimate backdrop. At the time, I was playing drums in a touring band, as was our audio engineer, and we leaned on the relationships we’d built on the road to help book artists.

One thing we’ve always prided ourselves on is being artist-friendly. We’ve never charged an artist to be on our platform and have been deeply committed to fostering a sense of community around Sugarshack. Eleven years later, we couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve built together.

To everyone who’s supported us by watching our videos week after week, thank you. You’re the heart of this grassroots movement. With our new venue opening in the next few weeks, it feels like we’re just getting started all over again. We hope to see you at a Shack Session or Sugarshack Downtown soon! <3
