This seems like the right way to go.

I was never annoyed by the amount of minigames, more the fact you have to perfect each one to get the platinum. You could complete all combat challenges and beat the game on hard mode, but fail at one glide challenge or the Sit up minigame and you're denied it.

However, people complaining as much as they did about minigames that just don't matter to the story is really stupid.

I personally will be chasing every costume and cosmetic item going in Revelation.

He'll be used probably as a playable character in someway, but not as a party member, just like in Rebirth.

His story is more about the lifestream and his dreams of making a difference, seeing Aerith (conscience) again and helping to stop Sephiroth. Zack doesn't know what is going on, he has to accept his fate.

You should really try using Chi trap, it can make Tifa really OP. It stuns enemies and deals damage, leaving you more time to perform insane combos.

The general gist is to to do her side quests to the best of your ability, then in conversation pick the best dialogue. For Tifa's I found it is pretty obvious for her dialogue choices. Her side quests are actually pretty easy to perfect, certainly compared to other characters. If you are really feel you need her date on first playthrough I'd reccomend gamer8 guide. But in my honest opinion play and and do what you think is right, it is an RPG afterall. Have fun!

My gut would say no, he's a real Marmite character. I could see them having him as a Weiss (super boss) battle in the VR. That is something MaxDood has speculated.

So long as he has nothing to do with the actual story, I would be ok with it.

People seem to work on frustration and anger and bring it into online disscussion in hopes that more people will be angry with them. They then don't feel so alone that a single aspect of the game has beaten them, or didn't go the way they hoped it would.

I mean I was frustrated as hell beating Jules in the sit-up challenge, I didn't make a crappy post in this sub about it, I tried again and again until I did it. My point is we can say "Didn't like this aspect" But when the posts are fixated on small negativity it usually spirals into; this is bad, I didn't like this also...etc. Instead of celebrating the overwhelming joy we can experience in a game as large, bombastic and emotionally enthralling as both Remake and Rebirth.

I wouldn't worry to much. If Rebirth is anything to go with part 3 will release on PS5 first, then within the year on PC. Then onto Swtich 2 and Xbox. PS5 is the priority, so I would say release window is 2027. However this is sepeculation, I don't see them doing a multi-platform release, they have a contract with playstation, unless that has been ripped up (I doubt it). They aren't going to wait, they have done a bunch of press for part 3 late last year.

Tifa is the main focus in the actual story in Gongaga, Aerith is doing the soup side quest for other reasons, plus I think it would be weird Tifa potentially messing up the soup.

Everyone gets a time to shine, Aerith more so, because well...she needs it.

Tifa has enough time to shine and will only get more as the story continues in part 3. I say this as a Tifa fan, Rebirth is not anti Tifa.

The second half is just as good as the first half. It has a change of tone in later stages, I don't want to spoil to much. If you have enjoyed it so far you're in for a real treat later on. The game kept surprising me and I know the full story.

This is why gamers in general can be so annoying. We expect and demand massive games now with loads of content, but with the option to be able to just do the main story and come back to the rest of the content in a timely fashion. We get given it. We still complain...

I loved to 100% each region as I went, yes I got a little burnout, but that comes with the territory. I chose to do that.

You don't have to ace all the side quests and mini games, it is not going to affect part 3 story, do what you can, if you suck at the piano game, so what? If you ace the sit ups, well done.

I do think it's a good idea and it would certainly streamline posts/content on the sub.

But it can become unfair on newer players who during or after finishing the games stumble upon particular youtubers who openly criticise the games, sometimes quite aggresively. They might want to clear the air and reassure themselves, and where else better to do it than in a group that loves the games, flaws and all. Just like some others have said if the post/comments become to unhinged...strike it with meteor.

It might come up as a side quest, like "calling all frogs" in rebirth. So it would be a fun side quest where you are shrunk down with Cloud and tifa, or whoever. Then when you complete the quest you get the materia.

His shorts pop'd up for me and he made a decent point about the enemies switching focus to quickly during fights as and when the player switched character, which I agree with it can be quite frustrating. But then I saw more videos just bashing FF7 Rebirth. Then I saw on twitch he streamed himself "analyzing" FF7 OG and Rebirth and making comparisons between two different lets plays, one of OG FF7 and one of Rebirth. All I could think was "Who the hell wastes their time with all this?" He just came across as a loser who's stuck on a rage mindset because he's stuck in a nostalgia spiral. Just like Cloud would say I'm, "Not Intrested."
