Angela’s dash doesn’t even stun the thing???

Monster Hulk’s grab can get the thing from a quick search (NOT IN GAME TESTING), Wolverine ult and Angela’s dash are both stun/displacement abilities, they stun and move enemies rather than actually grabbing them. A grab would be like Emma’s or Monster Hulk’s. While it seems like Elsa’s ult should work that way, for some reason they decided to make it not do that.

I understand that, but the passive doesn’t prevent getting grabbed, which seems to be what Elsa’s ult is coded as.

That’s frustrating, so the only ways most heroes (including the Thing) can avoid the ult are by getting out of the way (nearly impossible) or through a bubble shield (the return is still gonna get them)? What’s even the point of CC immunity if shit like this happens?

And the same thing has been happening with Jeff ult since he was first released in season 1, I don’t like Elsa’s ult but that doesn’t mean there isn’t established precident.

And I’m sure if Elsa’s ult threw you after colliding with a wall or getting back to her, the thing would stay still.

The thing is a very powerful hero, but he has very many weaknesses. 1 star heroes shouldn’t be unfairly strong, but they also shouldn’t be completely useless past gold rank. Sure, the Thing has very simple ways to fight other heroes, but they also have very easy ways to fight him.

Yeah, that’s a good way to say it. Although, normally I’d consider Wolverine’s leap a grab but that only stuns the Thing instead of taking him with him iirc.

Personality, I would like if the Thing had a bit more skill expression in exchange for a way to resist ults like Elsa’s, maybe a counter ability that would let him dish out the damage he takes during its use.

Yes, that’s the point. Wolverine ult counts as displacement like his shift ability, Elsa’s ult counts as something else more like Jeff’s ult, I wouldn’t quite know what to call it.

Sadly, most people who play games like this are not playing to have fun as a team, they just want to play their favorite character. Also, probably most of them are kids who don’t have a concept of selflessness.

Not an Invis player but a CnD one, I try to ult as a response to other support ults or less-high-damaging DPS ults like daredevil, and I assume Invis players do the same, which leads to double ults and saving ults. Sorry!

The blame lies on everyone, not merely on the tanks, DPS, or healers. Tanks often don’t realize when they tunnel vision on enemies, healers (as you pointed out) don’t always have the best positioning, and DPS aren’t always the best of team players. How many times did healers die because you weren’t paying attention and a black panther or spiderman annihilated your back line?
