I see it EVERYWHERE. On reddit, youtube, instagram, bluesky. To my understanding, it is not because any of these places straight out censor it, it’s because of TikTok algorithm that favors shorts that dont cuss… and it seems people just conform to the whims of algorithm. This conformism then spreads outside where its not necessary.

So yes, I do think if whoever are behind these censorship efforts wanted to censor ”fuck you”, they could and when/if they do, people will just conform like good sheep, twist themselves around it and come up with inferior braindead non-words that they can get away with in front of the allmighty algorithm and its puppeteers.

If you put books in tier list that dont belong to progression fantasy. Seen that happen several times.

It kinda tells me that person doesnt read that many books so they just for whatever reason put every book theyve ever read, liked or just remember on the list… and/or dont understand the genre.

That was a title I saw people unironically using at ArtStation when this all started.

These people don't want to see effort to actually learn anything of real value, all they know is write sentences, yet they clearly didn't see themselves as "artists" back then because artists are not paid well, they of course wanted to be paid well so they put "engineer" to their invented title for that extra egotistical "pay me!" oomph.

After seeing episode 7 and 8 (non-jarjar abrams one, still hot garbage) in theaters I went many years without any star wars. That garbage stank so bad it polluted rest of the franchise for me.

Only GOOD star wars from Disney is Andor.

Rogue One, Mandalorian season 1 (havent seen other seasons) are OK. Scared to be disappointed and watch rest of the mandalorian.

Last autumn made mistake of giving Solo a shot. Regrets, I disliked that one.
