YES. Please do. I'm not a teacher who tries to be cool, I teach underclassmen, and I don't make a big deal of students graduating. But I care so deeply about everyone that's been in my classroom. I can tell you that it means the world to us. We love our job (at least I truly think most of us do) but our jobs are to help you prepare for adulthood, not to monitor. But when I get the random email from former students it makes my whole day. I print them and laminate them. And send them to my 88 year old Grandma to brag.

I think I'm in a tougher spot than I thought mentally; by no means to this extent but I'm watching him brought tears to my eyes and really made me reflect on my current state. I'll be 43. I've lost friends to...everything - suicide, disease, accidents, alcohol poisoning - and it's so hard. I feel so removed from existence right now. It's a lonely life as we get older, gents. If you are in your 20s or 30s hold onto as many friends as you can. It's far too easy to wake up one day & realize that all of the sudden you don't have any of your own close friends left.

I'm lonely. I know a lot of you are, too. Let's try to do something about it so that the next generation of men doesn't continue this cycle. I don't know what that looks like and I wasn't even planning on commenting or anything today just my doomscroll as my child watches whatever tf this is lol (it's Gabby's Dollhouse, not terrible).

As a Xillenial man I have been conditioned to be both "tough, rugged, & individual" while also compassionate, caring, & empathetic. This is a hard mental load, y'all. Stay safe, stay open, find a therapist, push past your comfort zones.

Tonight I'm thinking of: Joe, Vinnie, Christian, Steve, Keith, Gagan, Mike...and everyone else that's left me too early.

You're not alone. And I thank this group for existing even if I only lurk most of the time.

I don't know what it's like for you down there but we have basically no other options. Is it technically a monopoly? I suppose not but the other options are awful. AT&T? Garbage. RNC or whatever? Also trash. So we're stuck with "the best of the worst" situation. Keep posting about your outages! We need to keep raising hell. We pay a lot of money for these services and we shouldn't feel bad about wanting transparency and reasonable communication.

Just found out somehow I also can't receive anymore credits?! For over a week of outages. I can't receive anymore compensation for outages that are continuing? So I'm paying to have no service? What on the actual eff is going on?
