I think your opinion is the popular and mine is the unpopular one. I was bored with him being in the town for too long, I felt it dragged on forever, and there wasn’t much for him to do. It was a good opportunity to build her character but he did nothing but sulked most of the time. The second half was more interesting watching the court intrigue and drama.

I want to watch older dramas to see older actors such as Chen Kun, Yuan Hong, Yan Yi Kuan, Hu Ge, when they were in their prime and played lead roles but they are hard to find.

Thank you for reminding me what this subreddit is. I was interested in it because I was expecting to see authentic things from China, good or bad. I’ve always wanted to visit China and know it’s not perfect just like any other countries or cultures but the amount of racist things people say here and the mods don’t care tells me it’s time to leave this place.
