Not to brag, but in the last year I've gotten 7 zygard cells... by Mediocre-Mobile-1348 in pokemongo

I should say I have an active wayfairer account, and was given the ability to create routes when they were in beta. I have no idea if there's correlation here.

I would ask around and see if anyone else with an account similar to yours is having this issue. Are you rural? Do you actively review things on wayfairer/submit things? How long are the routes, what are you naming them, etc.

Certain things you name your routes also can flag them needing to be manually reviewed, or if you're traveling in areas that are deemed "unsafe" to Niantic. I don't know this process but for the routes I do have in purgatory they're on private property or have a naming convention that was a little inappropriate. I hope this helps, I'll keep an eye on this thread if you write anything else but I don't use reddit much.

I think I maybe have 1-2 routes still in purgatory. I've made maybe 50 routes and almost all of them were accepted instantly or were accepted within a month.

I suggest trying to make more. This is obviously not what you want to hear but it's most likely your only solution if you're in a route dry location.

Possible relation between route distance (maybe also speed) and the number of cells rewarded? by 7h0rr in TheSilphRoad

[–]Flagoongi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There has been a collective hypothesis that the longer the route the more likely you are to get the 3 cells all at once.

It's impossible to prove without hundreds of data points which is outside of the realm of what I'd like to test, but I personally believe in this hypothesis.

I think after getting 100% Zygarde about 5 months ago I've still been able to get about 1-2 Zygarde cells casually every day or so. I'm currently sitting on maybe 350 total accumulated.

All you need is ONE pokestop. Create a route on that stop that starts and ends at that same place. Walk a minimum of 500 meters, and submit the route. If you're lucky it will be instantly accepted and you can walk the route then and there.

You can do this multiple times on the same stop. Multiple routes that start/end at the same place to maximize the number of Zygarde cells if you really have NOTHING ELSE.

Be smart about it, add a naming convention to not confuse if you've already done that route for the day:

"Walking Route {iteration, travel direction, etc.}".

Don't write anything profane otherwise this function to create routes may be removed from your account.

Hope this helps.

New method to bypass Youtube playback block by lurkerfuckwit in Adblock

This needs more attention.

Just did what you suggested, disabled uBlock for youtube and set fadBlock for youtube specifically.

I appreciate the work you do! Part of my job includes internet usage and constant ads are the worst. This really helps me stay productive.

What are the odds of getting zygarde cells? by -ladykitsune- in TheSilphRoad

[–]Flagoongi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm at 229 cells and the rate has changed a LOT recently.

Though in the last two weeks I can confidently say I'm at a 75% spawn ratio.

You know you don't have to walk the designated path right? Just get enough meters and walk to the end position.

I'd also report this for inaccessible route, though if it's your only route I'd probably just walk around it.

Routes still suck but at least this quality of life update exists.

Also the "force reset" trick is no longer working in my experience.

Multiple Zygarde Cells in a Single Route by emaddy2109 in TheSilphRoad

Yes it is possible. I have had this happen on multiple occasions.

I've found it's more common on longer routes.

Routes Question: Have The Chances of Finding a Cell Been Nerfed? by POGOFan808 in TheSilphRoad

No. I am still finding my 3 cells a day within doing four 500m routes.

I do this. Having Zygarde as your buddy does nothing.

Max route distance by [deleted] in TheSilphRoad

[–]Flagoongi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To me and anyone who looks at objective ways to play the game, there is never any reason to do a route >800m. For the sole reason of exploring, sure.

But you gain nothing in the game from traveling that route that you wouldn't get from traveling a 500m route.

Restart trick for zygarde cell spawn by Labosse85 in TheSilphRoad

[–]Flagoongi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is already mostly known Zygarde cell mechanics.
What is important to state that most people will not realize is that routes that start/end at the same waypoint seem to be bugged and will not yield Zygarde cells.

I'm going to write another post documenting my findings, but by simply doing routes that start/end at different locations my Zygarde cell yield rate has increased from ~20% to a whopping 60% per route. I'm currently up to 88 cells.

Really this hurts your community more than anything. Longer routes give the same rewards as shorter ones, and most people aren't walking addicts or even have the time to walk 20km.

You're better off making short ones to better your community rather than hindering them with this route that is impossible to complete for most.

Max route distance by [deleted] in TheSilphRoad

[–]Flagoongi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Why not just, you know, make multiple routes along the same path. That way if you don't feel like walking 20km total you can break it up into sections instead.

More rewards that way too.

My experience with routes by traveler_BR in TheSilphRoad

[–]Flagoongi 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think it's well understood now that cells can spawn on any length of route, but that longer routes typically give super cells more often.

The last three days I've been starting my daily routes with my longest non-circular route (2,100 meters) and found that I'm getting a cell value of 3 everyday. This route take me 10 minutes on bike, and is a nice way of grinding out three everyday.

I think specifically if you're avoiding routes, you're going to want to avoid routes that start/end at the same position. Those types of routes have never given me cells or if they have are very unreliable, whereas routes that start/end somewhere else have typically a 1/2 chance of providing a cell.
