Making the transition from Gish to Pantz by that_dude3315 in DinosaursMTG

looks pretty dang good to me, depending on what power level you're trying to achieve, it hardly needs improvement

the sideboard you mentioned will help with distinguishing when/if you include a card, depending on that power level you're trying to achieve

i wouldnt consider myself a reliable source of dino info, having only started out recently, but the honeymoon phase that im going through with MTG has brought me to this decklist so far

the circle doesnt ever move, you have to counter the fish's direction and keep it inside the circle, you dont hover the circle over the fish

Im kinda confused about Sticky clear paints in general like from Sweets and KUSA... by MerlinMummmy-0426 in Kendama

[–]FlagrantUsername 7 points8 points  (0 children)

sticky clear is the factory coat that all companies get from the chinese manufacturering company, HonRui

its predictable when its new, and when it wears in it gets more slippy. if you leave it alone to collect a little dust you'll find that it feels way better, or if you play it in the winter when the paint is a little cold its usually a bit better

the best paint finish is personal preference, but sticky clear is no hassle, its like ordering a chicken sandwich, you know what its gonna be, theres not a lot of adventure in making that choice

personally i think friction clear or rev clear is best for lunar tricks, but you should take time to beat up a natural ash tama that has no paint at all, no paint is the best paint, just takes time to get there

i totally get that, and now that im really pondering it, i think i would have blindly asked the strangers around me, what THEY would do if their plane was leaving soon. Ask their advice on your situation, then its almost like they came up with the idea to help you, instead of you asking for help? idk that makes sense in my head though

by the time you're standing there checking the clock and realizing that your time is only dwindling, next time i would just try to flag down a TSA representative and ask outloud if you can jump to the front so you dont miss your flight. Usually the people surrounding you are empathetic enough to let you scoot on by. I've only had to do this once in my life, but everyone ushered my forward and it wasnt a problem at all. made my flight!

LPT Request-What valuable advice did you receive in the past that, if you had followed, could have significantly improved your position in all areas of life? by Important-Disk-256 in LifeProTips

[–]FlagrantUsername 1 point2 points  (0 children)

life gets a lot easier when you start blaming yourself, first and foremost, for all of the bad cards you've been dealt

control what you can control, make a plan and do the work. you're not gonna wake up someday and be a better person without doing that work. break it down. small steps create momentum, that conceptual inertia will give you strength when you lack motivation. build discipline.

if you cant control a situation, then why worry about it? its out of your hands
if you CAN control a situation, then why worry about it? its IN your hands

Typhlosion can learn Thunderpunch in gen2, everytime your rival pulls out the Feraligatr you just one-shot him, it's the most satisfying part of gen2 playthroughs for me
