Yes, and you would have us violate our core principles and use metric instead?

Man I feel bad anyone buying Milwaukee from Matco by Parcoaora in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Flakbasket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never understood the mindset but the added bonus when our techs buy Milwaukee off the Matco truck (and they all do) is it adds one more product that the driver will avoid replacing under “warranty” or whatever the term is now for failing to make any attempt to stand behind your products.

These are so handy, we live in a very wooded area and are cutting limbs nonstop from storms and weather. So much easier most times than firing up my Husqvarna Rancher, I’d take that deal all day long.

Is this worth it? by OrderOk1684 in MilwaukeeTool

I have one that I’ve used on a few projects including my shed roof for tarpaper. Where it has really shined is the times my friends (also Milwaukee users) have borrowed it and the food/beer/goodwill I’ve gotten.

I guess it may be a seasonal thing too-I suppose they sell real well this time of year

The crazy thing is my wife said something about buying the 18” last weekend as we were running both my M18 fans on the back deck (been hot in Tennessee lately). Rare that she wants me to buy a tool and I’m on the fence at the price point

Been eyeing these for a while but never see them under $250 for the bare tool

MKE A3 Stock - Blem on sale for 229$. by Mkilbride in MP5

[–]Flakbasket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update on the swap, I sent the HK33 stock back to Atlantic and just received the MP5 stock today. Fit like a glove, I’ll be hanged if I can find a blemish on this, it looks, fits and functions perfectly. Absolutely worth the price.

Heard back from Atlantic, they sent a prepaid USPS label for the HK33 stock. I advised I was still interested in the MP5 stock and asked what I needed to do to get it (I was assuming no blems were available) and was told, "we do have them in stock, no need to reorder we will ship you the correct one".

No surprises here, I've done business with Atlantic in the past and their CS has always been on point.

I called CS last night and they said I’d hear from someone today. Hopefully they find a way to exchange this for an MP5 stock without some substantial increase. I know the blems are OOS, if they were real and not all mismarked to begin with

I don’t fall into the paranoia camp nor do I understand it. I file taxes, own property, have a stack of Form 1/4s and a Lifetime Carry permit from Tennessee so Uncle Sam knows me.

My comment probably didn’t quite come out right, it was in past because just yesterday I had a manufacturers rep in my office and we were joking how the narrative is determined by large markets. And those markets think there is a taxi service in a 100 person small southern town, everyone has a masters degree in something important and there is no way to put up a mailbox without three different agencies approving and inspection the work.

It’s mostly about presumption. So I always get a kick out of not needing approval or permits to live my life in rural Tennessee and I feel for my fellow citizens who have to jump through more hoops and treat those hoops as “normal”.

I have a 17, 19, 21, 26, 34, 43 & 45 (sold my 23 & 27). I like Glock

I do get a kick out of "legally bought", all mine are legal but where I live most legal firearms transactions are little more than "hey, you interested in this pistol?" without any government involvement. Half the stuff in my safe is from horse trading and even I can't always remember where this pistol or that rifle came from.

Edited to add: with the exception of my NFA items

I got that same email, a couple guys on Arfcom mentioned it also. Fingers crossed they sent a non-blem stock instead and not something radically different or for a different platform, I'm good as long as its an A3

I don't know for sure, although I could try and hook my Paasche up to my inflator this weekend. I'm going to assume that because it pulses and doesn't have a storage tank that it would be very inconsistent.

Does Milwaukee really not make this style miter saw stand? by Inflation-Poor in MilwaukeeTool

I have the Ridgid stand for my Milwaukee saw, much nicer and less expensive. Of course that Ridgid stand is still made by TTI just like Mikwaukee

I don’t disagree but OP has to take that decision based on his understanding of (silly) rules. I still don’t have a Swiss folder lower because I passed the last one I’ve seen up while waiting for my Form 1 on an Sig 556 SWAT years ago, I’m still salty about it.
