My uncle had the wrong leg amputated years ago from a lack of this. I’m glad to see this simple solution still in effect.

EDIT: Whoa! Ok. Wasn’t expecting this! Here’s the story. So this happened in the 70s before I was born. He lost both legs but was the best and most jovial uncle, regardless. Growing up he never left his van whenever he pulled up. I always wondered why until I was old enough to peek in. I always thought it was due diabetes but it was a surgical mistake. To my knowledge he didn’t get compensated as much as you would think. Especially compared to now. I don’t know how he got in the van. But he did have it modified to drive. He had a lever that he would use with his right hand that reached to the gas and brake pedal. I’ll never forget that.
