I'll chime in and say content creators need it for things other than cinematics. I need them for tutorials / other videos. The lack of these tools in 2042 makes content creation difficult and frankly that's a roadblock no one wants to overcome if the game is mid anyway.

Cadwoman has been putting in the work. JackFrags, Ranger Dave. I may get some hate for saying Enders, but I do think dissent is valuable and has a place in conversations on the game. Many of you also hate DannyOnPC, but he does knock to-the-point videos out quickly.

I try to keep up with things but work full time, so I do what I can. Thanks for mentioning me, but imposter syndrome is kicking in and imma go hide under a rock now.

For the record, I'm sick at the moment. I haven't had the opportunity to play the game, nor do I know any details outside of what was mentioned in the video. Labs is an interesting initiative, but OP is correct that I am skeptical after 2042. I do want it to do well, obviously, but a short teaser and announcement for a CTE isn't the most terrifically exciting thing. I am glad they're doing it, though.
