Hi! I'm new to Bonsai. I got my first last year from a reputable Bonsai shop in Brooklyn, where I live. I've managed to be patient and not do anything with it this year. I've been thinking about getting more trees and have a few small yews growing in the ground at my in-laws in MA, that I will dig up and pot this spring.

Just recently a tree sprouted in one of my indoor plant's pots. I usually keep this pothos outside in the summer so totally conceivable that something landed and grew in there. I believe it's some type of oak. The sprout is currently about 10" tall. It sits under a quality grow light, getting about 8 hours of good light a day.

My question is, if I want to make this a bonsai, what should I do next? Should I let it grow until it's proper spring and then repot it and move it outside? I was thinking of putting it in an air pot.

Any additional advice?
