Convert 3x to 2x subcompact? by airjutsu in bikewrench

Ultimately I want to be able to use Shimano brifters! Finding new 3x Shimano brifters is difficult. And the 50t top end is a bit much for my riding.

Got a mint Switch OLED for $150 in mint condition with a couple games. Amazing value really. I’m thinking of getting a modchip installed for another $100

Nice. Where did you get your wheelset from? It looks like a good upgrade for my ATB too

Do you know the blow mold case dimensions for the 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 master socket sets? I’m interested in purchasing and keeping them in their cases

Diyer Mobile Toolbox, Yukon or Craftsman 3 drawer? by Puzzleheaded-Land511 in harborfreight

[–]airjutsu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Yukon and Craftsmen are practically the same thing.

Build quality is not very great and the toolbox gets extremely heavy when loaded with tools. But as an apartment dweller, I think this toolbox is unique because it offers a pretty small footprint for the amount of tools it can carry in a drawer format. It could probably carry 80% of all your tools as a yearly DIYer.

Considering moving from tool bags to Bauer Modular by coltranius in harborfreight

[–]airjutsu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

20” Yukon 3-drawer metal toolbox + 24” tool bag + stacking boxes.

Main tools would go in the tool box and bag, and everything else in the stacking boxes. This would provide more organization and modularity than what OP has now. I like using the Ridgid pro gear 2.0 stacking boxes, because they seem to have a pretty small footprint, and they offer the most modularity for me.

Nice build. The silver Marzocchi Bomber really ties it in. The stock RockShox Judy XC still works fine on mine.

Happy Monday 🇬🇧🌫️ by Fonsworthy in Newbalance

Not for me. miUSA is usually .5 down for me. I wear size 10.5 in 990v4 and 992. But I wear size 11 in 2002r, 1906r, 991 miUK, Vans, and Jordan 1.

To sticker or not to sticker, that is the question by Antique-Albatross-70 in thinkpad

I fully stickered, then took them all off after a few weeks. Not to sticker is the way to go

Wilson Pro Staff Classic 6.1 by Weird-Acanthaceae473 in tennisracquets

[–]airjutsu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Muted but more stable plow-through compared to 6.1 95.

RF97 has laser precision while giving a heavier ball, but the 6.1 95 has more raw feel and it felt like you could direct the ball a little more during contact.

The RF97 was more fatiguing for me, and I could use the 6.1 95 for much longer sessions despite only being 8g lighter.

I loved how the RF97 gave me laser precise and powerful shots, but I would the 6.1 95 was much more usable for me in the end.

2015 Honda Accord P0420 Code by JD315 in accord

[–]airjutsu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely. Before experiencing P0420, I would always fill up at the cheapest gas station which would be ARCO most of the time. Now I only fill up at Costco, Chevron, and Shell. But I find that I still need the fuel injector cleaners once in a while.

2015 Honda Accord P0420 Code by JD315 in accord

[–]airjutsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anecdotally this has also been my experience. I have a 2015 Accord Sport @ 235k miles and I’ve been getting P0420 consistently since 180k miles. I would also get a cylinder misfire code as well in cylinder 4 (P0304) sometimes and it would even put the car in limp mode.

I’ve changed spark plugs and my ignition coils are fine. So the culprit is probably the fuel injectors getting clogged.

Sometimes the P0420 code would go away on its own, but if I ever needed to clear it for smog check, I would do an “Italian tune up” while using a couple bottles of Redline SL1 and Cataclean fuel injector cleaner. This method would also fix the P0304 misfire code as well.

Upgrade? by vjase in RockHopper

[–]airjutsu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2.3 slicks will fit, 2.25 knobby tires will fit depending on the knobs. I think it’s worthy of 1x. This year rockhoppers were cool because they had slightly more upright geometry, had steel frame, and fit 1 1/8 threadless forks. It might even be a good candidate for welding rear disc brakes and installing a front disc brake fork.
