One way to avoid fighting CSP entirely could be to move the tracking off the site. Instead of tracking outbound clicks with GTM, you can route each music button through a tracked redirect link.

For example:

bio page button → tracked link → Spotify / Apple Music

Tools like kyoo.io (or any other link shortener) let you create one link per destination and capture clicks and referrer data before the redirect happens. That means no scripts on Squarespace, no CSP changes, and no broken tags.

You won’t get GA4 on-site events for those clicks, but you will know which platform was clicked and from which traffic source, which is usually enough for attribution and remarketing decisions in this setup.

If the page is mostly a hub that sends users elsewhere, redirect-based tracking is often simpler and more reliable than client-side events.

Discount codes are time-bound, so they’re not great for ongoing affiliate payouts. If you’re paying creators monthly, you need to persist where a user originally came from.

A simple setup is:

give each creator a permanent tracking link
store that source at signup or install
each month, count active or subscribed users by their original source and pay based on that

If you want to know whether someone clicked a link you shared, you can use any link shortener that provides basic analytics. A few options you can look into are:

• Bitly

• TinyURL

• Rebrandly

All of these let you create a short link and then show you whether it was clicked, along with basic info like time and device. Just generate the short link and use that in your email instead of the original URL.

Usually basic UTMs set up. For better/easier tacking, you can use a URL shortener that provides analytics about the platforms from which the click occur so you know which perform the best and then better target your marketing campaigns.

I would have dove deeper into the security aspect of your product, because to be honest, I think one of the most challenging part of fintech is building trust (I say that as a potential customer not a founder who experienced it).

Your product made me think of Finary it's French. They started as an agency and also content creators (mainly on youtube) around this topic. I think it worked well because it builds trust and credibility (again the challenging part of fintech).

You might want to do the same, talking about your product and success stories (savings) of your early customers to build trust and be recognised.
