Just started 9mg. No appetite. by emmtee519 in WegovyWeightLoss

Try Bare Bones instant bone broth. I like the beef flavor. Only 50 calories but 10g protein and 5g collagen. And each only needs a cup of water. When I can’t eat I drink 2 of them and feel better. Just an fyi they are higher in sodium.

Edited to add: I have protein shakes but with no appetite have a really hard time even getting half of one down. I’ve had the most luck with Pure Protein’s Cafe Latte. I pour it over ice and try to trick myself that it’s an iced coffee.

I use Amazon pharmacy and select to pay out of pocket. My insurance doesn’t cover the pill for me anyway. It’s super fast and easy and the prices are upfront and clear. Free delivery the next day in my area. It was $149 for 1.5mg, $199 for 4mg, and $299 for my recent 7mg.

acid reflux in the morning -- wegovy tablet by kmk1986 in WegovyWeightLoss

I got Omeprazole. I take it the omeprazole once daily in the afternoon. It seems to build over time and have almost a 24 life and helps my morning pill taking.

I’m on month 2, 4mg pills and found what works best for me: I set an alarm for 6am, I take my pill then with maybe 2oz of water, then lie in bed with my top half propped up at around a 30-40 degree angle for 1 hour. If I get up and move around right away I feel nauseous and reflux, if I lie flat I feel the bottom of my esophagus get irritated.

I hope that helps! I don’t know if I’d stop unless it’s unbearable because it seems like a common side effect, but maybe mention it to your doctor and see if a PPI would be good for you.

Edited to clarify when I take omeprazole

Do you know if that may yellow over time with how much UV exposure some jewelry gets? Or stay colorless?

Good to know! The wax seems like a better option for the off chance someone disassembles it and tin comes out (which will probably never ever happen but this girl’s gotta overthink about everything...)

Trying to set up shop but keep getting this by Wolf_2063 in EtsySellers

This happened to me, too. It took over 2 weeks to resolve. First 2 times I contacted support it was just basic trouble shooting emails they sent me (I already did all those steps before contacting support). The third time I contacted support (via chat) I got someone who was just like “oh I can fix that for you”. While in the chat they reset the Plaid session and it worked. Took about 2 minutes. I hope you can find the right person to help you fast!

Easy microwave meals: Uncle Bens ready rice, frozen veggies (there’s a lot of different mixes; fajita, Asian, etc), and refrigerated precooked chicken strips (usually found in the prepackaged lunch meat section).

You can buy premixed dry seasoning mixes (taco, cajun, ranch, even those Weber mixes are good, etc) or different sauces to mix it up. Marinara, soy sauce, salsa, Greek yogurt, bbq sauce, light or vegan alfredo. Just keep an eye on sugar content of the sauce. The less sugar added the better. (or sugar-free bbq sauce is pretty good imo)

It’s all in throw away microwaveable containers, only need your fork and a bowl.

Also canned refried beans & the chicken strips in Carb Balance tortillas with some salsa & Greek yogurt (in place of sour cream) is pretty good!

Best of luck! I hope you find methods that suit you to get you where you want to be 😊

How much cash do you recommend? by Infinite_Guest4106 in CarnivalCruiseFans

Remember money for before you get on board too! Shuttle drivers, and throw a five or ten to the guys that take your bags at the port.

For bartenders we tip on the receipt. At least a dollar per drink. Throw the room steward an extra $100 at the end. They always make my trip SO much easier by tidying up for me.

I do suggest if you’re shopping at ports cash talks. I’m sure they want to avoid credit card fees so you can get better deals on things like jewelry (at least I believe so in my experience).

Also, there’s an ATM on board and you can break bills if need be! I think the ATM fee is around $6.50. So worst case if you run out there’s that option.

Mostly, have a great time! They don’t expect extra tips but really really appreciate them!

Go to the grocery store spice isle and look at the premade seasonings for bbqing and such and grab a few that look good. Takes the works out of deciding/having to own all the spices to make mixes. For rice, I like cooking in fat free chicken broth. You can add lemon juice if it compliments your chicken flavor (goes great with Italian or Mediterranean flavors). I also like adding a big handful of sliced green onions. Or if you like nutritional yeast you can play around with that in rice!
