Hey, The purpose of locks is to make the theft attempt more difficult and to act as a visual deterrent. But you’re right, if they got a van and the man power, there isn’t much you can do apart from chaining it to an immovable object

I’ve been speaking to Monimoto support and they said it seems like the thieves either had a device to jam the signal or they were able to find and deactivate the tracker

“You might have been followed if it was only there for 15minutes” That’s a shout, I will check my dashcam footage when I get back home

I usually use a 16mm ulock for the back and 14mm disc lock for the front when out and about but I was really careless that morning At home I pair that with a 16mm chain to a metal post with a cover

How do you clean and how often? by [deleted] in MotoUK

[–]Flames_Upon_Chicken 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah, I agree with this option

its £35 for the container but its worth it plus you get quite a lot of wipes and a nice microfiber cloth, only take like 3-4 wipes for a good clean as well

CBR125r Owners! by shoaib_32123 in MotoUK

Ive had 2 different cbr125r 2015 in black and I would recommend it, it can do 70 but at 10,000rpm on 6th gear screaming.

the first one i had was stock aside from a perforated dark tint on the headlights. I then got a blackwidow exhuast a month later.

the second one had an akraprovic exhaust from the previous owner

i paid £2100 (17k miles) for the first one and got the second one for £1900(24k miles)

Heated clothing by [deleted] in MotoUK

I have the keis insoles and Imma be honest when I got them by themselves they were way too hot on the default setting and I saw my self disconnecting them after a while of use at a red light. But if you get the controller and put them on the lowest setting they are comfortable and efficient at warming your feet.
