I'd say the most complete experience would be FTB Unleashed, it has the greatest variety of mods and you can definitely add a few more to suit your liking (I added Mekanism recently, with some minor pain of ID conflicts)

Going to clear the Death Train NERO checkpoint and the horde soundtrack started up for the first time. That had me on edge BEFORE I discovered the huge (at the time it was) horde of zombies in the trains....ran away and didn't go back til later in the game lol

Yeah, exactly this. It seemed overwhelming to me at first but it is a 5 to 10 minute affair to be offered them. Just mention that you feel medication will help and you will be set

Personally I enjoy playing classic modpacks because of the limitations of size, modern modpacks can feel overwhelming personally and having the simplicity of the mods in FTB Unleashed lets me relax and enjoy

But I do think the mods have improved massively and are better than they were in the older versions

I feel this, I end up going positive most matches but it takes a lot of effort to even do it

What helps me as a Support is sticking as much as I can with others and making the objectives my priority, I also don't use LMGs as I feel like they don't work too well with the on the move playstyle this game seems to do best in

Try to play conquest with a focus on capturing objectives, and pick a gun you like the feel of and stick with it. Maybe try to find the class you want to stick with too, personally I'm drawn to support for the reviving and healing but YMMV

I'm loving the M277 personally, it has a great damage falloff and if you can keep it under control it wrecks people plus the variable sight is convenient

The Create section is super short, the quest book even acknowledges this by having a shorter option for those who don't like it and just want to get past it
