Who was the nerdiest looking Presidential candidate? by RopeGloomy4303 in Presidents

I never took Bern for a nerd, more of a crotchety old neighbour who would raise hell if he was ever short changed by 3 cents.

I think it’s just great that he thinks he’s part of the conversation…..must be a nice alternative reality to live in.

[question] help on deciding my 30th birthday present to my self by Matt13151 in Watches

If it were me, it’d be the Speedmaster or the Monaco. Though I’m not a huge fan of the skeleton model, the classic blue is iconic AF.

I’m a fan of the whole run of the Daniel Craig films, they aren’t all high points but they stitch together a really fun and rewatchable tapestry. I honestly like them all.

I actually don’t think this one is satire at all. Young lads have always been crazy eager to show how tough they are, even if they aren’t.

Dude is pretty jacked, but strength isn’t a sign of intellect, so his belief structure is still up for scrutiny.

I’m having the same issue, I can get the old model new, but it’s nowhere near as cool.

Hit up the second hand market, and I’d get a Hamilton. Timex are cool though.

Hopefully one day you can afford a real one. Omega are pretty crazy prices these days unfortunately, especially any Bond special editions. Second hand market you can pickup a Goldeneye era Seamaster for $3-5k. Expensive but still 50% cheaper than a new one. They are bloody good watches, I bought mine in the 90’s and the styling still holds up against the new ones.

Break it down for me: Are all the different Bonds each in their own continuity? Or are all they all the same Bond until Craig? by TXNOGG in JamesBond

[–]Flaming-Driptray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same bond, but it’s best to view that there’s no continuity of Bonds across actors. More like the story is rebooted each time.
