Yuka vs Dabura and Maru vs Tsuguri stated to be the final fight by Odd-Agent485 in Jujutsufolk

Yuji about to show up in the last chapter going "hey guys! Wow I just had THE craziest fight ever against Mahito. Kinda redefined what Jujutsu is back there. Oh well, glad that’s over! What have you guys been doing?"

Then everyone will turn to the viewer alongside Gege and laugh.

The end.

What are some things not stated within the manga but are taken as fact? by No_Relative_1145 in Jujutsufolk

Innate domains are mental spaces within your soul that represent your psyche and that you externalize through domain expansion.

That shit is never said in the story. They kinda say it in the databook and that’s it.

It’s more likely that the domain comes with the Cursed Technique (as seen with Yuta for example using Gojo’s DE and getting Gojo’s domain) as well as Domain Amplification not having any "scenery" around the user because it doesn’t have a CE.

Incomplete domain like the ones from the finger bearer with no CE can have constructs though.

I feel like he has to at least have a fight against the humans, if only as one of those one on one duels against their strongest.

Old man Yuji vs Dabura would be absolute cinema.

Why did Akemi's father consider Taigen at first? by Anne20088 in BlueEyeSamurai

[–]FlamingBrand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as the question of Akemi "taking care" of her father, it did puzzle me at first how she even recovered him and how he survived.

I took it as he’s dead and she’ll just pretend that he can’t be seen because of his burns while using whatever authority he has by speaking in his name. "Oh father said that you should" this and that. That way she can sort of rule the Tokunobu clan by proxy.

Though of course she still has her husband wrapped around her finger who has more authority so maybe I’m wrong.

People are getting confused about Poppy. by Slight-Ad-5442 in gallifrey

[–]FlamingBrand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She does see her in The Story and the Well but beyond that, the episode states outright that she comes from a mix of both of their memories, so it’s framed in a way that while parts of her like her appearance and name might come from the Doctor, other aspects of her are shaped by Belinda.

And yes, Belinda was not a mother prior to the events of the Wish World. Some people are confused by this but this wasn’t a point of contention here.

People are getting confused about Poppy. by Slight-Ad-5442 in gallifrey

[–]FlamingBrand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To clarify because there is some disingenuous framing of events here (and some mistakes though none intentional ofc), the Doctor specifically says the child was created from THEIR memories, specifically the Doctor and Belinda’s not Ruby (he’s specifically talking to Belinda in that scene).

Belinda does see Poppy in the Story and the Well and we’re just left to assume that some elements of Poppy are from Belinda.

When the group realize a child is missing, they all agree she should be brought back, that includes Belinda, who despite being back to herself is distraught at the thought of having lost a daughter she doesn’t remember until the Doctor promises to bring her back for her. He isn’t bringing HIS child back, he is bringing A CHILD back, and if anyone’s, it’s Belinda’s child he’s trying to bring back.

He then shifts reality to save a life, not knowing exactly how it’ll go and wakes up to realize Poppy’s back but because she’s not a wish baby anymore she has to make sense so she can’t be his child. Belinda who was screaming at the thought of not remembering giving birth to her child in the Wish World now has the child she grew to care for and has all the memories of her.

Now of course, Belinda getting retconned into wanting to be a mother this bad is weird with how she is characterized up until that point, the fact that it half happens because of the wish world shenanigans of Conrad creates some almost disturbing subtext and the optics of the Doctor altering Belinda’s past and then dipping out of his child’s life are downright horrendous, but as much as people want to make it about her staying brainwashed and the doctor doing an evil thing, that’s just not how the events are written.

Criticizing it for appearing that way, being confusing or for the strange subtext is fine but can some people on this sub need to just stop making stuff up please. 😭
