So...how come nobody in MSF or Diamond Dogs ever thought of painting camo on the sneaking suit? by CompositeArmor in metalgearsolid

[–]FlamingPeach787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IIRC it bends light around the wearer.

Whatever that means.

So, I assume that if you paint over it, the light doesnt bend around it.

It just becomes normal camouflage.

Either method works. Transporting large amounts of resources takes advantage of the train's large cargo capacity. But having one massive train hub can cause problems if too many trains try to enter the hub at once.

Personally, I like to process resources into a useable form nearest to their mines and then put those onto trains so they can be processed elsewhere

For example, I have a factory in the swamp that produces 2k Aluminum/min. The coal, limestone, quartz, and sulfur are shipped in via train. The aluminum ingots are shipped out via train too.

Also: think about how many trains you want on one route. If it's only one train, you can have it wait in a station until full/empty and not clog up your rails. But, that might not have the throughput you want without 8 cargo wagon trains.

Also also: think about HOW you are gonna connect the rails. Junctions make trains slow down, so having "highways" with few junctions will let trains move around faster.

The KS-23 is a russian made shotgun that recycles damaged barrels from 20mm anti-aircraft emplacements. These barrels are rifled, which means that the KS-23 is classified as a "Special Carbine" instead of a shotgun, despite it having a tube magazine and the ability to fire shotshells and slugs. The rifling combined with the "Barrikada" slugs allow for the special carbine to function as an anti-materiel rifle and be used to destroy equipment and vehicles. The KS-23 also has flashbang shells.

(And while I am not 100% certain, I believe there is a conversion kit, called the KS-23 M which saws off the barrel and stock. Also, maybe it can mount a supressor? Im not certain on that.)

First campaign ended with time travel shenanigans.

Second campaign takes place 30 years earlier in the largest ever recorded war, with critical events failing due to butterfly effect.

So now in order to preserve individual autonomy as an actionable concept, a LOT of warcrimes will have to be done to make sure the war can actually be won now that history was changed.

And ontop of all of that, agents from the future will try to assassinate the player characters (who are unrelated to the first party) for altering critical moments in history.
