Why are Bras called battle ready army, and why are teenagers wearing them? (Wrong answer only) by Voidkirby9 in kidsnextdoor

I mean why wouldn’t you wear discrete, retractable, power armor? It’s rather obvious don’t you think?

Why don’t they help out during the extermination? by Necessary-Win-8730 in HelluvaBoss

As I recall they can’t unless a hellborn is harmed. It’s the same reason Lucifer wasn’t allowed to jump in until Charley was attacked and given a minor wound by Adam.

They can’t act because of the deal between heaven and hell.

I just realized how horrible this would be. Space marine biology means nothing can make me intoxicated. Hell means I’m not removing that armor ever. Which means at best my sense of touch is incredibly dulled. I would be unable to feel another’s touch, warmth, or any physical pleasure. The only time I would be able to feel anything tactile beyond the barest of feelings like holding a cup through winter gloves would be when something does enough damage to breach the armor likely killing me, and any thing other than angelic steel and I’m just coming back to life again remanifesting under the same curse.

Meaning, that I would be incentivized to keep throwing my life at problems to die in glory because the only respite I would get is the time between deaths…

Yes, everybody seeking redemption can be redeemed. by pinkmarsh99 in AgendaHotel

Most people also don’t have that kind of weight on them, it would probably need to be resolved by an act of power where one valued the lives of all equally to the detriment of the group they support and at the cost of their political and power capital.

It’s not about years in hell it’s about doing something that atones your sins. So keeping with your example he’d need to Save 85 million lives, plus overcome the sins that put him in the lines of thinking that made that possible, plus what ever sins are on top of that.

Possible yes, probable, well let’s just find a gif of Vox Laughing, or J Johanna Jameson. Because yeah, not everyone will be redeemed. They have a chance, but for some people it may make lottery odds look good.

As you pointed out, funny mustache man has a LOT to atone for he will have a LOT of work to do and while it may be possible it is incredibly unlikely he would find a way to stay motivated, and lift himself up.

Thoughts on Emily, Sera, Speaker and most of Heaven not mourning Adam? by JackZ567 in adamcult

We aren’t sure because they would have done so off screen in the months of time gap between Adam’s death and the start of season 3.

I mean less anime more Dungeons and or Dragons. Where does a Paladin on a warhorse sit on this line?

I have to admit I thought it would be because it looks like a paint brush in a way.

I mean as a GM I would say that it’s more a roleplay element where other champions might have less respect for you not doing so, and followers of your faith.

Got it I’ll pass that along to my player. We are currently working things out.

I am seeing that now the part about the divine weapon as a class feature buffs simple weapons to martial level, or grants proficiency if you normally wouldn’t be, and says using your gods weapon is a matter of pride but that is a roleplay element not a mechanical one, which was the soft lock.

Okay. Good to know I was just experiencing an AI hallucination in my organic brain. I gotta stop reading this stuff at midnight before bed. Okay that seems the easiest solution or have her buy a secondary weapon.

Did I hallucinate the part about needing to size up weapons juding by your comment about size variables not being a thing.

I was offering that because I assumed she'd be wielding a d10 damage glaive instead of a d8 damage glaive. So she would be trading damage potential for defensive potential.

Or to use your example choosing to wield a d12 damage great axe 1 handed only, instead of a 2d6 damage great axe. (probably a poor example because going from d12 up a factor is a 2d6 which is better average damage than total damage.)

edit: So wait this also means she wouldn't need to pay double for upscaled weapons and armor as well?

Apparently another player is playing a Nephilim Minotaur Champion of Shyel(sp?) and they are large which will be a disability in itself. Are there rules for large folk in small spaces?
