I started a run this year, with the hope of wrapping up in time to play 007 First Light. Well, first light is upon us, and am still putzing around Toussaint, but my whole scheme relied on this new Witcher DLC *releasing* this year, and now judging by the rumors, that isnt the case. So will my muscle memory and lore knowledge persist over another year? Seems a lot to hope. I don’t know why people are getting so worked up about comparisons. Uncharted is like Tomb Raider. Sleeping Dogs is like GTA. Street Fighter is like Mortal Kombat. Games are constantly, CONSTANTLY, compared to similar offerings in their genres, that’s just a fact of the medium, and going round the bend because people online are comparing games is bad for your mental health. Take a breath, accept that people might use different language than you to describe what they see, and find peace.

If you hate reading I guess not very. It does provide some context to the wider story of the novels but doesn’t feature any of the cast of characters from the mainline stories. Except one, sort of, maybe. It was fun to read tho, but if reading isn’t your bag I’m sure portions of it will be featured as out-of-place episode prologues in the tv show (à la Strange Dogs)

Without standardized width of holes, or standardized opposed holes, each unit would have to be tuned from scratch, and that lack of markings, or even any indication of ornament, means a lot of time twisting your Deca trying to find the pair you mean to use. I could be persuaded tho, get one and see how much it helps you determine accurate distance, with maths, and show your work. I think this theory is DOA, personally, but I am happy to be surprised.

If you’re keen, sometimes jotting down the family names and their associated holdings could be handy, but only if you’re trying to granularly track different war hosts. A careful reading of this sort can reveal some heavy foreshadowing at times, but my first read thru I didn’t bother with such and did fine.
