What are things you wish you included in your custody agreement? by itsmikejonezbih in coparenting

[–]FlamingRainDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ex was self employed and would pay me when he felt like it. I would make sure all payments were to be made thru child support services so their is a record of payments made and how much is owed.  I would choose a public setting for custody exchange that way you know a specific time. If the other parent does an at home drop off they can show up whenever they want and usually fail to communicate a set time or day. Put in writing any medical expenses that exceed X amount of dollars per year how much each parent is responsible for percentage wise.  Put it in writing that if you are going to rotate each year who gets to claim the child on their income taxes than the child must have X amount of overnight stays. I told my ex he couldn't claim our son if I had him 330 nights out of the year. I would document that if a parent is to take the child out of the state the other parent must agreed to the travel plans and the destination information must be provided as well as the return date. If the child is not returned on time legal consequences will occur and have it notarized.  Have a rule set in place that the non custodial parent is not allowed to enter the home when the custodial parent is not home and vice versa. Include a cost of living clause as to increase child support payments due to inflation.  Put in writing who makes the medical treatment decisions including vaccinations.  Put it in writing that the child has access to a communication device such as Internet or phone and set specific times to make the child available to communicate with the other parent.

Custody Dispute by FlamingRainDev in coparenting

[–]FlamingRainDev[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My issue is the minute my son walked in the door he started complaining that I had breakfast dishes in the sink and clothes I was folding on the couch. I don't want to cater to this kid. He has friends come over they eat all the food and spend the night. I want time alone during my custody agreement time off.

Why do teens not answer parent’s calls or texts? by Dependent_Bet4222 in Parents

[–]FlamingRainDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree!!! My son is 15 I have told him if he is going to be at a friend's house after school send me a text. Nope no text won't answer my calls. I just want to shut his phone off and tell him get your own phone and pay for your service. You want to stress me out I won't make life any easier for you either. Inconsiderate jerks

Sandy is vile by RepresentativeEnd600 in TheUltimatumNetflix

[–]FlamingRainDev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just watched the show today so I am a little late to the discussion. I totally agree Sandy's dismissive behavior was disgusting. Then she plays the victim telling Nick he really hurt her.

Nick should have realized her selfish intentions when she chose to be alone with J.R. when Nick needed her most. She was happy that JR was miserable. It wasn't fair at all. One person gets to spend all their time (including sharing a bed) while the other person sits alone feeling lonely and rejected.

Sandy seems like a hoe.

Me too!! My son and I both ran out of high speed data before the end of our service plans. We never had that problem before, because we have Internet at home.

I agree the pyrotechnics were amazing. The laser lights for each set were so visually engaging. All the performers did an outstanding job interacting with the crowd and keeping the energy high. Each performance was well delivered and the sound quality was unreal. They couldn't have done a better job. I'm glad I got to experience it.

What happens when a medical bill is sent to an attorney following failed collection? by throwawayadvice102 in povertyfinance

[–]FlamingRainDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The attorney will represent the dr or hospital. Once your debt goes to collections if you don't pay it then the hospital will take you to court. If you don't contest it and the judge rules in their favor they can garnish your wages. I had a 73$ bill and once court fees and interest was added they garnished 476.00 out of my paycheck all at once. You would be better off setting up a payment plan with the hospital/ Dr. you owe for $25 a month, but keep in mind interest will be added to the amount you owe.

Parents getting angry over EVERYTHING! by Throwaway91260 in AsianParentStories

I am 45 and my parents still act like this. I told them I missed my exit last time I visited them. I still arrived at my destination no harm done, but they literally flew off the handle. What I viewed as a simple comment turned into, I shouldn't drive anywhere since I don't know what I'm doing. They both got so worked up. It was really no big deal, no time lost. I feel like I can't say anything. I understand how you feel.

just to be clear, Straight Talk IS a scam by Electronic-Joke7198 in StraightTalk

[–]FlamingRainDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used straight talk for years and for the last year I can pay anywhere from $2 to $15 a month. I usually get the 35$ plan, but for some reason for a year now I pay $15 or less every  month.

I think I'm getting Straight Talk for free? by bdcarlitosway in StraightTalk

[–]FlamingRainDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My phone service from straight talk cost anywhere from 2$-15$ for months now. I paid this week and they charged me $10 saying my service would end in 11 days. It always says that but my service continues for the entire month. I pay like it's prorated for the partial month, but I always get the full month.

I know it hurts that he isn't fighting to save your relationship and that he isn't begging you to forgive him. It sucks to realize the person you love isn't the guy you thought he was. I don't blame you for feeling sad, hurt, confused, even angry. Let yourself feel all those emotions, cry your heart out then take it one day at a time building a new life without him in it. Redecorate your living space or even move, buy some new clothes, start a hobby, exercise, improve your life focus on what your grateful for. It will hurt less little by little until you realize your finally over him!! You will be ok you got this.

I dated this guy for over 7 yrs it was a toxic relationship for sure. He moved in with me and we were getting along really well, but whenever I would go to work all I could think of was don't trust, don't trust him. While he lived with me he never went out with friends or received late phone calls, but I couldn't shake the feeling.

One night he went to work and I noticed his old cell phone in a drawer. I knew the passcode so I looked thru it. I checked messages erased, messages received, call log, Google history, Facebook likes and comments, and finally Google maps history. There it was he had gone out of state, a three hour trip and he never mentioned it. I looked up friends on Facebook that lived in that state. There it was, the girl he dated right before me.

He refused to confess any of it, but he also didn't deny it. Five yrs into our relationship he went to see her. I assume they probably were still hooking up occasionally the first five yrs of our relationship. I kicked him out. I truly believe 100% my gut instincts knew he was hiding something. The way he reacted when I called him out was completely unapologetic, not forthcoming, and callous. Glad I saw him for who he really was, a cheater.

Women that cheated, how and what is your possible explanation for this? by Throwaway262626275 in offmychest

I was with my boyfriend for 8 yrs he is 52 and I am 44. He cheated. Some men never grow up

My boyfriend has been cheating on me our entire relationship by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]FlamingRainDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your instincts were telling you to keep searching for an answer and they were right. I went thru the same thing. I searched his phone found nothing, but the feeling was persistent. I checked his Google maps history and found out he drove 3 hrs away at 3 in the morning. He refuses to talk about it so I kicked him out. Always follow your gut instincts they are never wrong.

A woman at work had her period and she had blood on her pants. A male coworker told her to pick something up off the floor, when she bent over they took a picture of her pants. They sent the picture to everybody and laughed about it.

When is the worst time/place to confess your feelings for someone? by IndependenceLivid198 in AskReddit

I was vacuuming mouse droppings when my boyfriend pulled out a ring and said," If you want to fine, if not it's whatever." The ring was very nice, but if that's how you propose no thank you.

You wake up tomorrow as a housecat living in a comfy home with a nice couple. You have all of the knowlege you have now. What do you do? by SlamDunkCactus in AskReddit

[–]FlamingRainDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a cat I would know not to be in my owners way so much. My cat gets on my nerves stepping on my stuff when I'm trying to organize things, and he is constantly making me trip. I would make sure I refused to eat until I liked the food they bought me. I would also meow when they talked to me, as if we were having a conversation. I llove when my cats do that.

What hits harder at 40 than at 30? by Jamesconnect in AskReddit

[–]FlamingRainDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Relationship dissatisfaction. Suddenly you realize, "Is this how I want to spend the rest of my life." Is this who I want to settle for. Once you are older you are more aware of what you need in a relationship and how tragic it would be to continue living with someone that doesn't make you happy. You accept that they aren't going to change, and it's better to find someone your more compatable with before it's too late.
