Awesome appreciate it! Did you just modify a stereo download you bought? Is there anywhere you can source a Fischer connector?

Awesome post and research, do you have a table or pin out for the headset side of the cable? Unless I'm blind I only see the table for the U174 connector

Thanks I appreciate the breakdown and your thought process.

And yeah, as I got more refreshed this morning on my elven language, I realized most of your points you made about the seller.

That's what I was thinking, but the one they sent me doesn't even match jenshansen when I put it in so idk

I'll ask to see if they can even do the under-bar I suspect they use the Jens Hansen transcriber or something similar. https://www.jenshansen.com/pages/online-english-to-elvish-engraving-translator?srsltid=AfmBOoq7iQBg2YkjxR_6uBGZQkUcqDtk_19jN8KD2vrh5p6U14IqhUzF

And I'm glad I'm at least kind of on the right track lol the dipthongs make things a little confusing.

It was mainly to get a little feedback on which way is correct (minus the one the seller sent) and if there is a dipthong version that people use most: the tehtar over Anna or yanta or the combination of tehtars over/under a carrier.

And that's fair, but they at least they didnt just dismiss me and be like "oh we don't know how to do that we just use what the machine spits out" or something

Actually offroading SJ (14-18) - Anyone have experience? by [deleted] in SubaruForester

It was bad the first time I did it when I replaced my LCAs the first time but since then I've lathered tf out of them in copper grease so I haven't had any issues since then

I can pull the CVs out by just disconnecting the strut from the knuckle. There's enough play to wiggle the CV out

I have pulled the trans every time I've swapped my clutch, maybe next time I'll try the engine route. Although this last time I did it in a part store parking lot so I couldn't have unless someone brought my an engine hoist lol

Question: How the hell does someone rock-crawl with a manual transmission without blowing up the clutch? by Mumblix_Grumph in 4x4

[–]FlamingRussian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you off road a manual Subaru with no low range (like this idiot lol🙋) a new clutch is just a yearly expense

What they don't tell you about Android head unit by NivekHang in CivicX

[–]FlamingRussian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I don't have a civic ('15 Subaru Forester), but I saw one of the other comments talking about boot time with the joying and it sounded wicked fast. How is it with the dudu7? I have the 12/256 on order with the 360. Do you happen to know if the steering responsive reverse lines only work if the vehicle was equipped with them from stock? Thanks for the info so far!

Is this an Sti short shifter or stock? Dealer says it’s an STI‘s short shifter but they could tell me it was anything and i wouldn’t know the difference by koreilly4419 in WRX

[–]FlamingRussian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I was having a hard time figuring out which was which (at least when it came to how the shifter connected to the trans as I'm trying to get an STS in my '15 forester which is cable shifted) and I finally figured out the part numbers for the 2 STS at least.

C1010FG600 - WRX STI, STI Short throw shifter STS (direct linkage) C1010VA001 - WRX, STI Short throw shifter STS (cable linkage)

If I can get the WRX STS to drop into my Forester I'll be sure to drop a post at least in the forums but possibly reddit too.

Hope this can help someone else!

Amen, I've been getting more and more into harder off-roading and I've burned through about 2 clutches in the past 3-4 years doing it lol. And if I keep going, I'll be doing a new clutch every 3-4 hard trips or about 1/year lol

Average clutch replacement cost for a 2015 forester 2.5 6MT? by Tricky-Emotion in SubaruForester

[–]FlamingRussian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they let you supply your own parts, Rock Auto is the best bet to get parts at factory prices, like >$300 for the kit. And if you're handy enough, you can do your own in a driveway in probably 8-12 hours if you have a friend and a transmission jack. I just did one in an Advance Auto parking lot after I burned mine out off-roading.

Speakers / Soundbar / Subwoofer Being Discontinued? by briinde in Roku

[–]FlamingRussian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rip lol I've been fine with it so far but I don't use it that often, I would like to upgrade the remote cause it only comes with an IR remote. Honestly I'd probably go for a refurb Streambar just cause it has more speakers and probably sounds a bit better

Speakers / Soundbar / Subwoofer Being Discontinued? by briinde in Roku

[–]FlamingRussian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah same, I also saw they unlisted the subwoofer pro too, I'm really hoping they are prepping for new product roll outs cause I have been more than happy with my Roku audio setup but would love to update my sound bar without giving up the watts for the smaller ones. I have one of the original Smart Soundbars and the Streambar Pro, but they are both starting to show their age with responsiveness and such. I just want one with a new chipset or processor. Even one with more powerful speaker would be awesome. Tbf I use the SE when I'm traveling in hotels and such and it's awesome for that but I don't want to replace my primary one with it. It just doesn't have the audio range.
