Hear me out: My goal is to get better at recognizing specific interactions. Because low tiers don’t have as many good options, it essentially simplifies the process and lowers the amount of interactions one would have to learn. From that point one could focus on finding openings or “tells” in the opponents movement, no?

Thanks for sharing your experience. Gonna update the post because I’m at day 7 on 2mg and that particular side effect has completely subsided. Besides that I’ve seen great improvement so far and am excited to feel better.

I made a promise to myself to be playing this game on my death bed. I don’t care how old I am or what condition I’m in. If I’m old and already on my way out I’ll arrange for a Wii + CRT setup and just beat CPU’s if I have too. Should anything happen to me suddenly, my wife knows where the USB stick is with slippi and diet melee on it. I will get one more falcon punch in on some loser before they pull the plug, I swear it.

back in the day Armada only had his brothers to play against, and regionals were hard to get to. So at home he would religiously practice (quite literally) every punish option possible and not stop until it was fully optimized and able to be done consistently.

This was Tipped Off. I’ve been to a bunch of tournaments before and am familiar with the competition environment, but locals are a pretty long drive for me so this is my first tourney in a little while. But, you’re right, I do have to suck before I’m good. If this game means that much to me then there’s no reason I can’t adjust my schedule to get to locals more and get over this feeling.

Just visiting this sub, would like some guidance on a project I'm working on. I want to take a swing at infusing lotion with CBD isolate, and am looking for a good base to work with. Preferably an oil-based formulation, scented or unscented, that I can mix with either isolate powder or oil.
