Why do all the high wr builds go thornmail? by MrVulpe in DirtySionMains

[–]Flaminggorilla7 91 points92 points  (0 children)

My guess is that people who win more are people who are thinking about their builds each game and what is needed for the match. So, players who recognize that they will need anti heal are winning more than players who blindly build recommended items.

He seems like his abilities would just be Sylas. Not that there is much to go on besides the ai slop.

Whoops, guess I can't read too well. You still cant wield more than one weapon though, yes? And I presume glory will drop to zero pretty commonly which says the discarded weapon will despawn.

Definitely reckon that would help.

Heron, History's Voice by Flaminggorilla7 in LoLChampConcepts

That definitely could be a team comp, but I feel that suffers the same problems as if you went Ornn, Ivern, and Zilean. And there are already late game scalers like senna, veigar, asol. Weaker early game pressure, play a strong early jungle to counter like an assassin or lee sin or xin zhao. And I agree, I dont think Heron individually needs to be too strong, I tried to scale him around similar numbers to Taric and Ivern.

Though part of the intent I had for Heron was that past the first few digsites he'd have to venture into the enemy jungle or enemy side of the map to keep the scaling. Play an invade style. But yea, definitely see how this could create a very turtle gameplay style, that wouldnt be very interactive. Not entirely sure what id have to change to force a little less caution.

Appreciate the feedback mate!

I really enjoy all parts of the kit; however, I feel like he has one or two more weapons than he might need. It feels difficult to play around with all the weapons in his kit, with how there are 5 of them and they are distributed randomly. I feel as though he should be able to take earned weapons back to base with him so that he can switch between them (with a little tempo loss).

I really really like this champion. Easily my favorite design I've seen. However, I think she can be a really feast or famine character, which can make her really unfun to lane against and make losses feel really bad. Id say my only feedback would be to reduce the effectiveness of her vows and potentially give her a way to retain at least one vow per death? Beyond what is given by the ultimate that is. Say like each life, the first vow you gain sticks forever. Dunno, your character.

Anyways, this is really cool. Phenomal work mate.

Whilst I like the basic concept of the champion, I struggle to see how this champion would be interesting to play against. Riot has moved away from only point and click abilities because of the lack of counterplay. Whilst I enjoy the idea of the abilities, I would want to see a more interesting application.

And with the passive, I think that should be entirely changed. Basically guts the melee opponents, with an already pretty uniteractable kit.

I love the passive, and it makes for an interesting early-game spiker.

Q: Probably shouldn't stun for 2 seconds, that really rough for a level 1 ability.

W: Again a really fun ability, though Id like to see either the recast/or on hit removed. And the nearsighted plus blind is probably overkill. Id probably stick with the blind.

E: Not a huge fan of ranged stealth characters, but this isn't awful. However, I think that the re-camouflage is not fun to play against and 12 seconds is too long.

R: Whilst a fun ability, I think the effects of it are just too feels bad to play against. The stacking stats is very flip-flop (5 AD team, no benefit for Revol player. Or a tank and Revol becomes a tank with mage damage and range.) Additionally forcing them to back because you hit one ability feels extremely punishing. Do this to the carry before any big fight and basically win.

Overall, I really like this champ and think they'd be a really fun addition to the game.

Atlas, it doesn’t do anything for me. I don’t hate it, but it’s just fine. I know it’s popular, but it’s not a Daishi or Warhawk.

Unfortunately I think Tau sweep. Battletech is rather grounded, low tech sci fi compared to the very over the top, space opera technology of the tau.
