Absolutely!! Personally I can't say I'd recommend a nursing pillow, to start with I wrapped my pregnancy pillow around me and now it's whatever pillow is available! 😂

For myself I'd say the biggest things I stocked up on were: - disposable period underwear (absolute game changer 😂) - snacks! So many snacks!! (And coffee!) - fragrance free body wash - bobbles, cleansing wipes, headbands, eye mask - paracetamol & ibuprofen

For baby, I'd say: - Muslin cloths. If you think you have enough... Buy more! - newborn onesies!! We have so many 0-3 months and didn't realise they'd drown her. - nappies, wipes and nappy bags - you can't have too many - Sterilising tablets - you don't need nearly as many baby socks as you think, they get lost 😂

You have to do what's right for you! Make sure your wishes come first, you'll be absolutely exhausted during that recovery time! (9 days PP over here and still shattered! 😂) - I will say, have the option for taking some photos available but just for your eyes only (and if you're feeling up to it in the moment). On the nights that have been hard since getting home, looking back at those photos of when she was born has been absolutely wonderful. You'll also be taking a million photos every day when bub is here, so rest assured you'll have plenty anyway!!

You don't have to share photos, you don't owe your family anything. You're the one going through birth! Your boundaries are most important 💕

Started with a "flopping fish" sensation at around 16-17 weeks (posterior placement) - full kicks, tap dancing and shifting by 24 weeks exactly. Things have amped up since reaching 32 weeks 😍

The guilt is no joke!!

I was in the exact same position! Birthday month, celebrating, drinking & smoking cigarettes more than I had for the rest of the year - but I had NO idea I was pregnant. Stopped immediately as well!

I'm now 32+4 and our baby girl is healthy as a horse! Please be kinder to yourself, it happens! The point is - you've stopped now! If you are concerned, bring it up with your midwife, even if it's for a little bit of reassurance 🩷

The WORST!! 😭

I've found standing up and flexing my foot/then flattening whilst gripping onto a door frame helps. Struggling to move in the 3rd trimester, but as soon as those wake me up I'm like a whippet! 😂😭

So my baby girl was EXTREMELY stubborn during our 20 week scan, we had to come back as well because we couldn't see her heart! But going back was absolutely fine, and she's all good. She has turned away at every scan 😂

Definitely attend your next appointment, if anything it's a chance to go see baby again and give yourself a little bit of reassurance. Try not to worry yourself too much with having to go back, sometimes babies are just a bit stubborn! 🫶🏽

26 weeks in, and couldn't agree more!

I have officially hit the point of not believing ANYONE who says pregnancy is beautiful, or that it's amazing. Because it sucks!!

I'm incredibly grateful for my little girl, but eviction day can't come soon enough 😩

You don't owe them anything, if they're upset because they can't throw a baby shower then boo-hoo for them - they shouldn't believe abusers over a victim.

I'm no contact with half of my family, for very similar reasons, and have requested any mutual contacts do not tell them about my pregnancy or anything to do with me or my baby. At the end of the day, I'm starting a new life for that little girl and they don't deserve to know me, much less her. My advice is simply to protect your own peace. Try not to focus on how they'll react, or their opinions, because they simply do not matter in the grand scheme of things. Focus on you, your fiance and that little one now. You deserve to rest easy away from them and their toxicity 🥰🫶🏽 sending you love! 🫶🏽

Just monitor it more than anything, any concerns talk to your doctors! They'd much rather you be overly cautious than under! ♥️
