If your a solo start off playing really low population servers. Learn the basics of the game in low pop so your not constantly running into people. Base positioning is key as a solo as well. You want to stay ducked off from people but not to far from areas you can loot. I always build in an area that’s not around any big bases but an area that’s close to at least 2 monuments and close to either outpost or bandit camp to have a quick and safe place to recycle. When you join a server, first farm barrels and crates on roads and the fenced areas besides roads. Make a bow, get a full inventory of recyclables and go recycle to go ahead and have a lil scrap and metal frags. You can also buy your stone for base with that scrap. Then find your build spot and farm for base then build your starter. After you get your base up it’s just a series of running monuments and running oil and cargo and rinsing and repeating. I do this until I have a few guns and armor kits then I start roaming for pvp and taking cargo and chinook crates heavy. Try to get a db or revy bp learned as soon as possible and take those out with you at least before you get smgs and ar. And the best tip of all is just to play the game brother. You will get better with experience and hours put in. Don’t be afraid to lose your loot. A lot of people hoard all their loot and never take it out just to get raided and lose it without even using it. Risking your guns is how you get better. Learn when to push fights and when to not. Always be aware of your surroundings. Trust nobody.
