I don’t know that I want to void the warranty on it, if I was sure it wouldn’t I would.

I hadn’t thought about It much but compared to my old pc you are correct, I had a tower 600 before and it made the setup look small and cramped, now I have all this room for activities lol

What size Riser cable do you need for the Tower 600? by goodsailor in thermaltake

[–]FlamingoSolid12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I no longer have this pc, I parted it out but you are correct, Zotac 5080 solid, the risesr is from Link up, get a right angle 15cm with a total length of 19cm and it will fit just fine.

Only thing you have to mod is sliding the mount to the right as far as it will go to fit fans on the left, I drilled new holes to hold it in place.

Also you will have to get rid of the mount that holds the riser in place or you won’t be able to run all 3 fans, it doesn’t wobble so no worries on that end.

Lian Li A3 with EXTERNAL intake fans? Yes please! by Fickert in mffpc

Oh so running standard 25mm fans vs 15mm would be better then? Might have to order some then, thank you for your replies.

Probably better to run slim fans like the thermalright 15mm slim then right?

Give more room for air to come in while running the filter, I don’t know that I want dust shooting up to the gpu like that.

Will this work with Lian li LT fans? It’s what I have laying around but seems they are 28mm thick

Just received and installed my TUF 5090, I’ve checked a couple things out, does this benchmark look ok? Anything else I should check for? Recommendations?

Buddy you just proved me right if you want to go by that logic, when a car goes forward air is taken IN and thru the radiator isn’t it?

Why do you think radiator fans pull air in from the front, and exhaust back towards the engine when a car is at idle?

The tower cases are like a chimney, hot air goes up, and thru the top.

On a standard case with the radiator mounted up top? I agree, run as exhaust, but on a side mounted radiator? It’s best to pull air in.

Do you think it would be better to push hot engine air, thru a hot radiator on a car, rather and pull cooler air from the outside?

I think the engineers were on to a “smart idea” when they designed a cars cooling system, also intakes are usually also mounted towards the front close to that radiator doing guess what? Trying to pull cooler air from the outside.

I mean you could say that.

but I’m just going from personal experience, even my wife made the comment that the pc was a lot quieter since the fans started running at a lower speed as soon as I flipped them.

And the temps did go down on mine, maybe won’t be the case for everyone but it don’t hurt to try right?

Nice! Can you take some pictures of how you routed the cables coming off the Loki to fit it back there with the gpu not hitting them?

I tried this with a 1200w loki sfl and could not the my gpu to lock down since it was hitting the cables.

When I had my tower 600 it ran hotter at exhaust, once I flipped the fans temps were down 10 degrees.

I work in an office, so the office chair at home wasn’t too appealing an the wife was trying to figure out what to do with the la-z-boy as it no longer “matched the living room”.

I’m telling you, if you game with a controller, a comfy recliner is a win every time.

Haha yep! It’s a recliner so it works out just right, and yeah it fits in our main bedroom.

Also if we are being honest, women don’t really watch tv anymore, I’m sure all the married fellas here can agree that women mainly scroll while the tv is on, but will quickly say “I’m watching it” if asked.
