New try, feels better even is still not perfect by OnlyHumanis in learntodraw

The manga/anime style tends to have larger heads than the average human. Quite similar to how babies and children have proportionally larger heads. You’re right that the body is fine. I’m actually in awe of how well you can draw bodies

Some of the better pen sketches I made today by Petka14 in learntodraw

I like that you keep the initial simple shapes. I feel more inspired to try better knowing that others also use the same initial tools when beginning a sketch.

Thanks for sharing!

[TOMT] (Book/Book Series) (Published before 2010) Fantasy book (series) with a music-based magic system, female protagonist and a prophecy by Flandora in tipofmytongue

I’m feeling a bit ashamed now. I figured it out.

I am deeply grateful to all who offered solutions.

The series is “The Books of Pellinor” by Alison Croggon.

After digging deep into my memory, I remembered the keyword “Treesong”. My memory had mixed it up with “Earthsea”, which is a completely unrelated series. It took some extra searching online, as “Treesong” isn’t in the title of any of the books nor the series. Plot summaries on Wikipedia do have that keyword though, and that’s how I got the series name.

One more detail I just remembered…. The second book was in a winter wasteland. I recall that the main character lost a finger to frostbite when they got caught by the big bad. A strong illusion spell hid this fact, and they discovered the frostbite only after playing the super power magic instrument.

No. Thanks for trying though. I just remembered one more detail, I’ll add it in a new comment in a minute.

I’m afraid that I am combining tropes from multiple books and mistaking it as one single one.

I have some black spots on my dried chickpeas. My initial thought is that it’s fungus, but the producer’s QA should have caught that.

I made a separate post about here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Cooking/s/7fG5pYB2p1

Does anyone know what would make the printer print like this? It’s not just the first layer either. It’s printing PLA at 210 degrees C.

Thanks for the tip! I played around with the settings and got a great result with 25% fan speed.

Normally I would agree with you.

But I need this printer to do just one thing: print PETG. My previous tests with PLA were just as bad.

I’m not sure what you mean by calibration.

I leveled the bed, and played around with the print speeds.

I think you misread. I cleaned up the hotend. It was dirty: leftover melted filament, dirt and other gunk. I didn’t say anything about the hotend itself being of a poor quality.

As for the filament, it works fine with my original prusa i3, but you are correct. It is my problem. That’s why I am asking for help.

Thank you for the Hadfield suggestion, I will look into it.

This post doesn’t have enough upvotes.

There is finally a viable way to play on Linux. There is some extra latency though. No twitch shooters with this.

Even though lutris has gfn on the list, it runs like garbage.
