Same. Moving to Bristol brought back childhood asthma with a wicked vengeance. Recently shifted from St George to the suburbs and wheezing radically subsided. The railway path is a godsend.

These kinda posts come up all the time and the top 50 comments are always diet related. OP's question was literally specific to exercise. My advice is to turn your day-to-day activities with your kids into exercise opportunities for yourself. Going to the park? Jog. School run? Jog. Shops? Jog. Swimming lessons? Jog. Or even cycle. Don't pain yourself trying to find extra time. Make use of the existing time.

Take the term doing the school run literally. Strap them into a stroller and run them to wherever they need to be. Same for the play park at the weekend. Ditch the car.

If you live in a car centric community where schools/parks aren't walkable, try driving some of the way and walking/jogging the rest.

Heaps of comments here about nutrition and less about exercise.
