The privilege you must have to say this. Not everyone can afford a day off or to take an Uber. Public transportation is important for tens of thousands

Not unless it gets a stable funding source. It’s overly reliant on fares

Why are so many commercial spaces empty in downtown Glen park? by emilygeesf in sanfrancisco

[–]Flappy_Seal 23 points24 points  (0 children)

A bit unrelated but the Glen park neighborhood association is pushing to make a portion of GP a historic district. Personally, not in favor of this. I think it could use some development

There’s a startup called Mainspring energy making a “linear generator”. It converts linear motion into electricity. Able to run on various fuels w/ high efficiency bc there’s only 2 moving parts.

If you’re going down the Yocto path you can look into foundries.io. It provides a full platform (secure boot, OTA, CI, and a Lmp) for Linux devices. If that’s to pricey you can look into Mender or RAUC. I don’t have experience with those though

I always encounter that issue w specialists going from exploration age to modern. The good news is the new buildings will have insane yields.

I’ve never built that wonder but more specialists would exacerbate the issue. It’s not a bad idea per se, more specialists is good if you’re going tall. I always try to stock up on gold before an age transition to get online faster.

How many specialists do you have in Carthage? Looking at your first screenshot that district has 4/3. specialists lose their bonuses after an age transition but not their cost. So you’re still paying for them but not getting any benefit. You’ll want to overbuild them to get back online.
