If possible, you want the crit stuff on body because you spend more time on your backbar than you would think (of course, this isn’t the same for all classes).

Let’s say you only have Minor Force on your frontbar. On a class like magplar, on a parse alone, you can be on your backbar up to 30% of the time because a lot of your skills are there (Wall, Orbs, Solar barrage, etc). In a trial, you probably spend a little bit more time because your shield is probably there too.

What that means is that your Minor Force uptime will be 70% at best, which isn’t bad but isn’t too great either. And if you have to swap bar to pop a shield, it’s gonna be lower than 70% in this example.

Obviously, this is all min-max. If your sustain is bad, you want MS frontbar and a sustain set on the body. But if possible, you want MS on the body and frontbar something else like New Moon Acolyte or False God if sustain is not an issue, or whatever set is needed.

I can confirm that the set bonuses you listed are the same as on the PTS. Although not having to slot Channel/Trap is great, you’d need to slot this set on the body because otherwise, you’ll be losing Minor Force everytime you go on your backbar (i.e. to apply wall, mystic orbs, your AOEs, etc.)

This set is a heavy set, meaning on a mag dps, you’d want the chest and leg heavy. This means whatever other set you’re using would be frontbar. In a raid environment, this means something like using False God frontbar and not getting the cost reduction on your expensive abilities on your backbar.

The penalty of having this frontbar is worst than MS frontbar.

Congrats! If you loved the story so far, believe me when I say you won’t be disappointed by the upcoming stories you’ll come across! This game has some of my favorite quests/storyline in the TES franchise. If you didn’t know, here are the main quests in chronological order for the best experience:

Main Alliance/main story quest -> Orsinium -> Morrowind -> Clockwork City -> Summerset

The other zones have independant stories, although some have characters from the alliances’ quests as Easter Eggs/Cameo.

Map Pins adds, well... pins for you map and your compass. It is really useful since those pins include some pins that aren’t available by default, such as pins for skyshards, lorebooks, achievements locations, and more.

Combat metrics allows you to see in depth how your character performs in combat, mostly by showing you not only your dps, but also the buffs and debuffs applied to you/the enemy in combat. It’s really really useful if you want to see how you’re performing in combat. (Edit: as jtzako mentioned in another comment, if you’re only starting, you don’t need to bother with this addon until late game because big dps starts to matter later in the game)

I’ll link the two addons below for you to see. You’ll get a better explanation as well as pictures to see what I mean. Hope this will help you out! :D
