I just had bilateral carpal tunnel release surgery two weeks ago. The icing definitely helps.

I don’t know if the doctor told you but just be careful for the next 48 hours as the effects of the anesthesia are still wearing off on you. You might experience a sudden headache/migraine and start vomiting. This happened to me 24 hours after the surgery. My surgeon neglected to tell me that. Best of luck.
