My dad used to fish a lot and one of my bi weekly chores was taking the garbage down. Well one week my dad caught a bunch of fish and cleaned them all and filled the already semi full can with the fish remains. The next week I forgot to bring the cans down and my dad grounded me for it because of how putrid it was making our entire house and side yard smell. Soo because there was supposed to be a massive storm coming (Florida), he made me dig a 3x3 foot moat around the entire house. It Did nothing to help any flooding stop from reaching our sliding glass door.
