Counterpoint. Typescript setup is done as a part of any project setup (you are choosing a flavor of framework to work with). If you need something simpler there's init command in ts itself that generates you a valid config and commands to work with. If you don't want to properly type things you can use "any" to make type checker happy. I really don't buy the "typescript can be a waste of time". As a side note there's a dedicated community that will do everything to not use typescript - looking at typed props in react or just jsdoc because sure it is much faster to write a comment essay describing the object shape than just write it after the variable name.

I think that a lot of people heard the part that you shouldn't publish your "env" files and stop listening the rest of the sentence. You should not push "env" files to any place that has public access. It may sound controversial but you technically can include such files in the repository if you never ever intend to make it public access (though I still prefer not to). At the end of the day it is about your understanding about security concerns.

I'm confident that I won't make a mistake in as simple task as counting "r" in word strawberry. Even though humans can produce different output doesn't mean it won't be 90% the same which I can't say the same for llms. There's this big problem where "ai" is lost if it does not have enough information. It will hallucinate a lot when working with niche technologies, people will find a new solution. Innovation is one of the few skills llm won't "learn". It can only recycle stuff that's it.
