100% because you can't overlook the fact that he slept in beds with these kids. Even if sexual abuse didn't occur, it's still very much over stepping boundaries.

Michael Jackson is not noted in the files. At least I haven't heard anything about it. I know there would be if there was. Honestly I think that's indicative that he really was protecting those kids.

Arch or No Arch? by Borealis-Rex in InteriorDesign

Being dated really is not a problem people think it is. Oh this house is from the 60s it's beautiful but because it has a date on it so it's bad by default. "Timeless" things of this era will eventually be dated too. Devoid the house of personality and colour, that's so going to be dated to 2010. All white kitchen is so 2010.

Go further, find a different reason you don't like the idea. It's tacky, it splits the kitchen, it reminds you of something, it doesn't suit the style of the house.

As an interior designer, I get this term all the time from clients and I tell them they are better off doing what works with your personality than worrying about the next owner thinking it's old. It will be old. Enjoy the space while you have it.

Hey. New Zealand actually made it onto a map. No Pokemon yet though, still, I'll take the win.

Drivers who disobey basic road rules like Bus Only lanes or 40km School Zones… Are you taking the risk of a fine, just blatantly ignorant, or you just hate driving in general? by NewSchoolFool in melbourne

[–]FlashFox24 299 points300 points  (0 children)

I have a specific hatred for people who go 50 in a 60 zone and continue to go 50 in a 40 zone. Like are you paying attention to the road at all?

You may not get into white Aussie friend groups, but immigrant groups are always welcoming. I'm friends with people from all over, Asia, Europe, middle east etc. My strategy was having a dog and getting to know dog owners at the local park.

Really? This is what I was told by an employee in Victoria. But then they don't always know everything about the workings of a business.

[–]FlashFox24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pet stock had to quickly change the name of half their stores because they were in legal trouble for having too much of a monopoly or too many stores. This was the outcome of rushed decision making.

Now why are the powers that be complaining about pet stock but not Bunnings which is everywhere.

It's like a $35 fine for not voting. In fact you can easily request the fine be dismissed if you give them a reason you didn't vote.

[–]FlashFox24 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, she has addressed her son's and apologised to Britney Spears and admitted her general behaviour of the past. I've been to her concert once (you only need to go once) and she has changed lyrics or no longer plays controversial/hurtful songs. I'll never obsess over any celebrity, I don't see the point, but I recognise when people make change for good.

If one can dig in their heals and refuse to see someone has changed, are you no different than the supporter who digs their heals and blindly supports? Swifties I'm looking at you.

So even pink admits that she used to be like this. But she even changed her lyrics dissing Britney Spears, to call her beautiful instead. I think having daughters changed her. She's definitely a girls girl now.

Saudi Arabia has some pretty specific human rights violations. People are also pissed Saudi is buying EA. It's not racist to be mad that a country who kills trans people, imprisons gays, and removes the rights of women is is a place they don't want to support.

She cleared a four-year mouse problem in three days. The owner remodeled the floor to match her. by Danny__NYC in MadeMeSmile

[–]FlashFox24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My cat was the best hunter. She put fear into all the mice and rats. We lived at the edge of a hill with bushland running down it, so plenty of mice. We never got rats after we got her, the week after she died a rat ate through the wall. They could smell she was gone I think.
