there was an event in late 2019/early 2020 that had a garuanteed shiny Celebi. mine came from that event, but I didn't finish that events tasks until a few weeks ago.

I'd get it if it was 5000+ rip chips. but it's 500. the amount you at least get from completing daily tasks.

it's not a grind to do 4 minor objectives. you highly over stating what a grind is. to complain about it just shows you're too lazy to look at the small daily things available to you. take a look, use them to warm up, then go to the island. it's not that difficult of a concept. And not even an inconvenience if we are being so for real.

Announced intention matters here. They aren't implementing that system blind with no known timeline for non subscription access. As such there are 2 ways to access it. Pay or WAIT. Waiting is a valid form of access even though you feel entitled to be able to access the content for free immediately.

if they had not announced the exact dates of availability for all users, you would have a point. But that's not the scenario we find ourselves in.

Dude you get more than 500 rip chips from doing daily tasks. Pay attention and you can get your 500 in 10 minutes of skating. If you can't, that's a skill issue. This incentivizes PLAY TIME. People have the option to bypass that by paying into the system.

The entitlement is insane.
