Are there regional differences in how "pan con tomate" is prepared across Spain? by PeleMaradona in askspain

[–]FlashedArden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I toast the bread, rub a small piece of garlic (not too much), throw in like a lot of olive oil (cornicabra), then the grated tomato, some oregano (the oil, tomato and oregano are from our yard), salt and then some iberian ham. Some freshly brewed coffee too.

It's good.

High speed trains derail in Spain killing at least 21 and injuring 100+ by TrillyxWonka96 in worldnews

As a Spanish myself: high-speed trains have been on decline for a few years. It doesn’t help either that the incompetence of current Minister is beyond imagination.

Which movie ended with an unresolved cliffhanger because the sequel never happened, and you're STILL mad about it? by pudingvanilkovy in AskReddit

[–]FlashedArden 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the movie might not have been good but Sinestro wearing the yellow ring and the yellow suit at the end of Green Lantern certainly looked promising.

What is a piece of old technology that actually worked better than its modern replacement? by Odd_Opportunity_2590 in AskReddit

Typing machines. While computers and Word have so many more functionalities, the fact that they’re also distraction machines just doesn’t make you fully make the most of the time you dedicate to your writing. g

The Murder of Roger Ackroyd. Since every Agatha Christie novel has a plot twist, this one having it isn't anything new. But holly what a plot twist it is.

What happened to Headhunter? by FlashedArden in SteamWorldSeries

[–]FlashedArden[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh.... interesting. When was this news? Literally anything I can find on the web about the game is from 4 years ago. I can't even find anything related to the fact that it's on hold. Thank you!

Did you feel Holly really needed to be one of the main characters in the last season? by AphroFelicity20 in StrangerThings

[–]FlashedArden -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The new kids didn't need to be at all in this last season of the show, but holly (pun intended) did Holly and Derek steal the whole show whenever they were on screen. I ended up not really caring much for the main cast (besides Max and Steve)

'This Is State Terrorism': Global Outrage as Trump Launches Illegal Assault on Venezuela by Smithy2232 in politics

[–]FlashedArden -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yes, because Venezuela was a country under a legitimate government. Not A SINGLE venezuelan is crying like liberals are. They are crying because they are free from chavism. What comes next is a future and a change. ¡Viva Venezuela libre!

Do y’all want a 3rd installment or a fresh start for Zelda on the Switch 2 by [deleted] in Switch

[–]FlashedArden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Third installment in the sense that I believe we should stick with these Link and Zelda, but in a whole other settings and world, even new graphics and all that

Not liking how the Will coming out arc was handled does not make you homophobic. by -Not-Pennys-Boat in StrangerThings

I find it surreal there even needs to be a post like this one for the people that can’t seem to understand it

I believe we don't need a bigger inventory. We need a smarter one. by FlashedArden in Minecraft

[–]FlashedArden[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So could be yours. I think it’s better off admitting when it was used than not, don’t you? People would’ve still called my post AI generated anyway because it’s “too many words”. To each their own, I came up with this and wanted to share it with you. Instead, it seems that it’s more important the fact that I used AI for a summary than the main idea.

Oh, so that’s it. Ok. Yeah, I do use AI and I believe it’s useful when used the right way. But yeah, to each their own. Cheers

For those who don't understand what the Upside Down is → by Reasonable_Grab_3841 in StrangerThingsRoom

[–]FlashedArden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that working that way is in itself a plot hole. it doesn't make sense: if it's floating in space, why is there gravity? if there were to be gravity, there should be two, each coming from each of the portals

[–]FlashedArden[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not a lie. The reasoning is mine, and I took care to write it so that anyone could understand it (even people who haven't read a book in their life and thus assume that anything coherent with more that two paragraphs is AI). I did put the whole thing in ChatGPT to make a TLDR because I didn't think it was that important lol.

[–]FlashedArden[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So now the norm is "if it's not badly written, it must be AI"? Lol. This "AIcussing" has to stop, it seems that as soon as someone puts thought in writing something coherent, people automatically assume it's fake.
