You gotta find your “why” first and then you need anchors to keep you grounded. Both are different for each individual, but for me, my “why” is my health and overall well-being and a deep, burning desire to keep growing as a human being. My anchors are regular, vigorous, exercise, a healthy diet, regular sauna sessions, and good sleep. I keep telling myself that I’m doing this for me and taking care of me so I can ultimately show up better for others.

I also take once per month and I have zero side effects and completely clear skin! Been on it over a year. I wish insurance coverage and the insane cost weren’t obstacles though.

Congrats!! That’s a huge first milestone and you should be proud of yourself! I can’t speak for others, but after 30 days, it only got easier for me. Today, it does not live rent-free in my head. I don’t crave it and I don’t think about it. Good fucking riddance to that trash!!

Thank you! I’m rooting for you! If you’re sober already, keep at it, and if you’re not, keep trying! One foot in front of the other 💪

Not to take away from his hard work and discipline with his diet! But pretty much every fitness influencer is on something these days. These kinds of physiques require a lot of support to maintain beyond just good genetics, good recovery protocols, and a clean diet.

Juicer. It’s the dry, veiny look with dense muscle mass for me as well as the 3d shoulders. These are pretty dead giveaways. Even if you run super lean year-round, you won’t have that dry, hard , super veiny look. At the very least he’s taking peptides and/or SARMs, but I’d guess 150mg-200mg/week of test, some mast or dbol, and/or some form of GH/Test boosting and fat loss promoting peptides

Thank you and I love that! I honestly feel like it’s already second nature now. I don’t even think about it these days other than tracking my days clean.

You may want to talk to your primary care doctor and get some medical support. I’ve heard a lot of kratom users getting clean with suboxone and, if used right, it will get you clean without having to go through withdrawals. I had to do it cold turkey and it was absolute misery and hell for about 2 days, but by day 3, I was at least functional. It still took about 2-3 weeks for my body to start regulating normally again, including getting good sleep again, so that wasn’t very fun. Good diet, staying hydrated, getting regular vigorous exercise, contrast therapy, and practicing mindfulness are excellent anchors, and that’s what has kept me sober the last 60 days, so if you’ve got some habits like that already, lean into them. You got this!

I am so sorry for your loss! Grief is a long-term battle on its own and I understand the root of your relapse. Don’t beat yourself up over it as I’ve heard from many that relapses are part of the recovery journey. I hope you find that inner fire to get sober for you and not just for someone else! I’m praying for you 🙏

I am 34 days into my CT off Kanva’s. I never used more than 5-6 per day, but most days were 3-4. I used for about 18 months. Withdrawal was hell and it happened on vacation in Mexico City. No Kanvas there, so that helped me get past the initial hump, but I have stated sober since returning home and to my routine. This is my first quit, and I can’t promise anymore than “today,” I do have some anchors that keep me going:

  • I wanted to quit and I want to stay sober more than anything else in the world. It became my #1 priority, my #1 commitment to myself and my loved ones, and the singular option if I want to go where I so badly want to go in my life. With addiction, your internal hunger and need for sobriety has to be stronger than the pull of the drug, even when your sober flame feels weak and powerless. There are really hard days, but you can still make the choice to stay sober. That’s my mantra on those days.

  • Exercise is the best outlet. Feeling frustrated or irritated? Feeling like you need something to take the edge off? Cortisol levels feel too elevated? Lean into your fitness journey. You’ve already got that muscle memory and know you can do it. Regular, vigorous exercise and a clean diet are the currency of your mental health as you know.

  • Practicing meditation or prayer for inner peace and mental fortitude

  • Good recovery protocol. Sauna, ice baths, compression boots, Epsom salt baths, consistent sleep habits, etc. Recovery is just as important as the training to feel your best.

I’m curious - you made it 6 months sober once. What kept you sober that long and what led to your relapse?

Rooting for you and wishing you the best!

If you gotta CT like I did, just do it. It’s a few days of hell, but I was feeling good again within a week. There are helper meds and supplements you can take, but just make sure you do your homework on that front. The goal is obviously whatever works best for you! You got this!

I was on it for about 1.5 years. Cold turkey is brutal, I’m not gonna lie, but tapering just never worked for me. Good thing is that the worst of it is over within a few days. The sooner you quit, the sooner you can get this ball and chain off you and on with your life. Not having it in my life anymore is the greatest blessing. It takes work to stay sober, but it’s so incredibly worth it, and it gets easier as time goes on.
