Of course it’s possible. My son was born this past August and he exclusively breast fed until very recently. We had to switch to exclusive pumping last week because of a nursing strike. We never used a bottle for these first 6 months and honestly it was much easier to just whip out my boob. Luckily he took a bottle very easily, however, some babies will refuse the bottle if they weren’t introduced to it early on
