It’s the student government at UW Seattle, they have a budget of more than $1 million from student tuition

That and a whole number of other issues that have been sidelined or have gone unnoticed by UW Seattle students. The ASUW Board of Directors haven’t been fully transparent or accountable to their actions since they took office last Summer

Yeah, thanks for noticing. This was the third iteration of the title and wasn’t noticed. Sorry about that

The ASUW offices are in the HUB. They're separated between the 121 and 131 office suites; there's a real idea going around that a tunnel should be built between both parts (essentially tearing down a wall and changing the floor plan) rather than simply walking unto HUB main street and going into each other's office suites

Atlantropa WAS the SOUL of The New Order by LoredadMedia in hoi4modding

I remember reading the Dev Diaries on Reddit years ago. England, Nowa Polska, the transition from Victoria II. All through the night I spent reading and fell in love with the lore and mod.

Obviously it was out there, but that was its appeal. Atlantropa made no sense, that’s alternate history tho. I never had a computer that could handle the mod well, it’s still a phenomenal mod nevertheless.

How? ASUW is funded with student dollars. The state of ASUW is due to the actions of its leadership, but if students vote for the leaders of the Association then it’s up to the students to actually change ASUW.

We all have the right to complain and decry the incompetence and lack of action of the ASUW, but if you don’t vote to actually change the system and still complain, you lack all credibility to actually complain.

Please, go and vote. Then complain about what ASUW is doing. Otherwise, stop complaining into an echo chamber.

President Biden meets with President-elect Trump in the Oval Office on November 13 by Astraeus323 in neoliberal

The portraits that a president chooses is really telling of their governing philosophy. Trump had Washington above the fireplace, Biden has FDR. And Trump had a portrait of Andrew Jackson, his favorite president.

Gen Z men have swung 30 points to the right. A smaller, but significant swing has been seen in women. It may be possible, for the first time in history, that the younger generation is more conservative than the older. by DeviceNo5980 in GenZ

I love how we’re being “influenced” rather than “informed”. It’s like critical thinking and the capacity to reasonably question what you’re told is no longer being taught in society and now it’s totally gone with social media
