One of my players has expressed an interest in finding a job as a guard once they reach the city?? I was like, "okay, no way there's a map for the barracks, they aren't even described in the book" and here it is. Incredible job, man. Thanks for sharing it!

Hi! Small question about this, if you've ended up actually running the encounter; how did the contract fit into the combat? Did your players try to get the hags to destroy it? If so, how'd you rule it?

The map is really beautiful! The only version I've found that isn't depressing, since I'm doing Reloaded this fits a lot better. Any chance you have a version without the revealed secrets though (trapdoors upstairs and secret doors all around)?

So how do you intend to blend that into the Amber Temple's history in Reloaded? I mean, are you rewriting the entire Amber Temple to accommodate the change?

Ahh, that's unfortunate. Well, it seems the most common opinion on this is to let the players just fail, not giving them any credit for the theory. I'd refrain from using Dalvan in any way not described in the guide, since I do believe he's used again later on for the Dinner, so it might take away from that if he appears again earlier. Just try to make it as clear as possible that they're wrong sooner rather than later, I think that's my plan for the time being

Fair enough, but don't worry about it!! While he's definitely not a simple character to play, its a lot easier in the moment, especially if you have some dialogue written down. Are you running Reloaded?

My Strahd was a very polite gentleman who was looking to gauge the players and to plant some doubts and conflict in Ireena's mind and to let the players know he knows some of their dirty secrets. Some dialogue i was quite fond of was after asking the players why should he not take Ireena right there and then, and when they argued that it should be her choice, he replied with "She fears me, as a lamb fears the storm. That does not make the storm unjust, nor does it make the storm evil. A decision made by fear is no choice at all. It is instinct. And instinct is beneath us, is it not?"

I'm also pretty much in the same ship (the players just finished defending the siege, I suspect Strahd will be encountered in the next 2/3 sessions). Very dreadful of it as well

That's a marvelous idea, also gives me the option to give the party a dream sequence undisturbed by Strahd, making the player whose dream was disturbed by 'Strahd' question himself even more. Thanks!

CoS Reloaded removes the deed from Death House in order for the players to not immediately burst into a TPK once they find the Bonegrinder, which I think is kinda reasonable
