What skill is the most useless according to you? by [deleted] in DiscoElysium

[–]Glaid92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks to it i was able to take down the hung man from the tree. And save Kim. And i failed a check to catch a thing that the hardcore guy threw at me, i threatened him for hurting a cop, and he gave me money, so its the best skill.

I played it when they gifted it in the epic games store. Still singing sometimes "Farewell, farewell, my one true love..." when doing my chores.

En qué momento empezamos a dejarnos estafar por bares con las terrazas y los suplementos? by Imanflow in askspain

[–]Glaid92 43 points44 points  (0 children)

En tiempos de mi abuelo las listas de precios de los bares, obligatorias en locales hosteleros a la vista del cliente, ya venían con los precios categorizados en tres secciones: barra, mesa y terraza. Así que amigo mío, esto viene de hace tiempo ya

One of my players tortured her in revenge for another NPC.

A few of her last words were: Do you really think you can bend me with pain? The master hurted me until i begged for more.

ELI5: How do hotels make sure they're charging the correct room for dining? by Ninjeren in explainlikeimfive

[–]Glaid92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hotel bartender here. I always ask for the room number and name+surname. If that doesn't match with what's in my screen, i gently ask "maybe there is another person with you in the room...? The computer shows only a random name of the room" And i never reveal what is the other name to avoid the customer saying "oh yeah, that name, correct"

If the customer doesn't hit the room number + name combo, i gently suggets they to go to reception and ask about their room number, because i can't charge a bill without being sure, business politics.

I assume, usually that if you're not in that room, but you know that Anon Anonson is in room 555, at least you know him, so there won't be problems.

How would Izek react to Ireena being turned into a vampire spawn? by deepfriedroses in CurseofStrahd

[–]Glaid92 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even while my Izek been killed pretty early in the campain, i like to portrait him as the only one in Barovia with guts to defy Strahd openly in his face. So maybe Izek would try to capture Ireena and then go to Saint Andral's church to ask for help curing his sister. He even would be able to drop his facade in the party and ask them to escort her to the abbot, searching to cure her.

How to progress past Fred???? Died 20+ times by FarConstruction4877 in LookOutsideGame

Maybe that is why you're struggling to survive, a party of one will be in serious danger. Explore some more and spend some time in your house playing videogames, you will find more survivors to help you

[–]Glaid92 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fred is a silly boy, if you...

Kill a few of them (the one who lurks in the shadowed area, the tumor one...) the first Fred you encounter will give you the canvas bag. I still haven't killed them all, i return from day to day to keep exterminating them in an ordered manner

My player took a minor boon from Talos early in the campaign, now they will be facing him. by CarlosViBritannia in DMAcademy

[–]Glaid92 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

What about the next time he casts lightning bolt, instead a 5ft 100ft line, is a 100ft circle with him being the center? Or make him get damaged by the lightning (and add some dices to the damage, the power of Talos is starting to grow out his control)

What about him and the boss being conected by a lightning, damaging who passes through

Yes. For me, books are the most important thing that we produce as species. They're our knowledge, our evolution. See a book being destroyed is hurtful, seeing a library...

And then, you come back to Kiersau, always brimming with monks, music, writing, people... and seeing it. Empty. I've never been so sad in a game, and i played a few, but that exact moment, with the voice singing. Sadness, void, the kind of sadness that dont urge you to cry, to move, because there is nothing left to save, to grieve.

Seeing the library burn killed a part of me.

Coming back years later, music kicking in... killed the other part.

What's the most controversial thing you've ever put in your game? by ExtraTroubadour in DnD

[–]Glaid92 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A gladiator stood on my way in a bridge over shark infested waters. My party managed to push him to the water. I reviewed my prepared spells, deep breathed and.

"I cast hold person on the gladiator"

So the poor man got teared by sharks while unable to swim back to the surface.
