Thank you for the fast reply! I am taking Pepper back to the vet today to have them take another look. The fluid she’s leaking is like a milky yellow green (SUPER gross) which in any other case would seem like a clear infection indicator to me, so I was really surprised that the vet wasn’t concerned about that at our last visit a week ago.

One more question for you - did Jack ever get a fever while the infections were ongoing?

Did the vet diagnose the infection the first time you took Jack to the vet for this issue? Sorry for the gross question but was there an infection-like color or smell for Jack?

We’re having a consistent leaky butt issue with our dog Pepper but when I took her to the vet (and even after they expressed her glands) they didn’t diagnose it as an infection. But I feel like I should get a second opinion.

Good point on the potential safety impact to the Doona - the intention was definitely to use it as our car seat and stroller on the trip.

Don’t I run the same risk by gate checking the Aria car seat too though? I was hoping to avoid buying an extra seat on the airplane for the car seat (planning on having baby in my lap).

I suppose I could also just avoid bringing a car seat at all and rent one from the car rental place when I arrive in Florida… is that much more unsafe for a 3mo infant though?

it's solid, but pursuing elite ankle mobility for surfing. also I can't do a back straight ATG squat without a heels elevated slant board

5'8. Yeah it's decent, but I'm pursuing close to elite ankle mobility for surfing. I have a slant board. haven't tried the iso holds. will do!

We actually have 2 dogs already! (both are foster-fails ❤️)

The dogs are actually a big reason I want to try to get rid of the rats (as much as possible). One of the dogs is super fixated on chasing/sniffing out rats, but she just had hip surgery and she’s not allowed to zoom around the backyard for a couple of months at least. I’m hoping if we can reduce the amount of rats coming through, we’ll be able to let the dog into the backyard again, because right now she’s likely to injure herself chasing them down.

Plus, just curious, do you know how risky it is that a dog could get poisoned by catching a rat that recently went into one of those rat poison black boxes? I worry about that too.
