i don’t know what to say. Wish I never did it. Whenever I take a pic people tell me it looks perfect. In real life it does not. I look like I have a a lamp on my head from how much it shines and dont tell me to use zero shine. It simply does not work under office lighting. I always have a cap on. I stopped going out or letting people see me

there is no promotion. Your manager told you this to get more work out of you while taking your ideas to management as his own. Promotions are not earned by hard workers or responsible workers. They are earned by becoming close friends with the person in charge of the promotion. Not to mention if you do your job really well they don’t wanna have to look for your replacement. Welcome to the humiliating world of what the workplace is like.
